each (regular) bundle runs for 14 days, sometimes there's isn't a new one, so only 1 bundle :p

Okay, I'm not surprised, but ...
I wish there was something worth buying, for once. I think I haven't bought a regular bundle for a half a year or so. And now, that I can't even buy Steamgifts for giveaways any more, I really would like some bundle with at least one game that's good to keep and play. Maybe I'm too picky, I just don't like all that retro/pixel/arcade whatever stuff and I don't like multiplayer ... so nothing really appeals.

What you dislike there is pretty much what i prefer xD But i feel like there's a lot of Horror-BS showing up in almost every bundle... there'll sure be a time for things you prefer as well, hopefully sooner rather than later =)

Oh, I don't like that horror-bs either, or FPS, platformers, VR, and so many other things. The thing is, I don't even hope anymore for a bundle where I like pretty much everything (the last time that happened was here ) or even the majority - just one game in a regular bundle (not talking about blind deals like Humble Monthly) that I care enough for to buy it would be nice, for a change. I know, that tastes differ, and that I'm very picky (probably also because those roughly 200 games in my library are more than I could play in lifetime).

Generally yes, but I already have Rebel Galaxy, Galactic Civilizations II and whole load of other space themed strategy games that I haven't even checked out yet in my library. Though, I did check out Galactic Civilizations II and never really got into it. Consequently, neither Galactic Civ 3 nor any of the other games had any high priority for me.

Not quite, it just needs one game that really appeals to me, even though I probably should stop buying games altogether because I already have more stuff than I can ever play anyway.I don't doubt that GalCiv2 is good, I just couldn't get into it, Maybe it's the lack of a proper tutorial or that registration process, they required before I could even launch it, I don't really know.

There are exceptions, of course, but in general I do like most types of adventures, RPGs (real RPGs, not rpgmaker or anime stuff), builders, simulations (not simulators), some third-person shooters, some stuff I really shouldn't like.

I did consider it, but ...
- TIER 3 was out of question (wargame + multiplayer ..uggh)
- I already owned "The Journey Down"
- I was hesitant with some of the others, because of bad reviews
- Some of the games just didn't look that interesting...
So yeah, if I'd known that there would be nothing worth buying for months, I should have picked the BTA. Back then I figured I need some stuff to enter and win in giveaways as well - I hardly ever use my points. Maybe this was a mistake, it definitely was one of the their better bundles from my perspective.

I think part of the reason there aren't many bundles that get you psyched is that RPGs and TPS are among the most popular genres, so good games from those genres don't get bundled as often as other more niche stuff. Sure, there are occasional bundles with nice games like Darkness 2 or the Risen franchise but not nearly as often.

I always thought that FPS is the one most popular genre by far, followed by MMO/MOBA, wargames and action (which includes TPS to some extend)... but not even closely so. I always considered RPGs more niche stuff. But yes, one way or the other people are probably prepared to pay a little more for a decent RPG. So you might be right, about why it's so hard to find a bundle that really gets me thrilled.

Went to Humble and found the mobile bundle. Not sure I'd buy it, considering I already finished Never Alone and Brothers on PC, but I do like to support PC devs who port to Android.

I guess they wanted to skip the week of the monthly (next one), so they said "let's not skip today too because it would be too much to skip 2 weeks continuously".
