Why do people hate Phil Fish?

my feelings twords him are neutral. (nothing he's posted has ever made me care enough to change that. i just don't care one way or the other)

I don't hate him but I have a strong distaste for anyone who says

"I don't like [game], therefore IT SUCKS, DUH. IT'S CRAP AND IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN MADE"

as opposed to something like

"I don't like [game], but that's just my opinion."

imo everyone's allowed an opinion, and no opinion is more valid than anyone else's, but just because you don't like something doesn't automatically mean it's shit. I can't stand the TV show 'Scrubs', but at least I can see why other people might like it.

He's too... direct with his opinions. He doesn't like PCs, and he's not ashamed to admit he ported the game just to make profit.

Or generally being over-confident, mean and cocky towards most people, that kind of behaviour is just childish.. and FEZ isn't even some kind of innovation, same "retro" style graphics and music, no enemies and easy puzzles, yet it took him 5 years to finish it..
