Lack of this option slightly bothering me, and I don't think I've seen someone proposing this or I'm not good with searching things. It could be more useful to have possibility to see new threads while keeping the other option to see threads sorted with latest posts.. As a not-so-frequent forum lurker I like to see if there is something interesting happening, maybe new event silently started, someone did jigidi/itstoohard puzzle but it good flooded and sometimes it will be missed by people. Bumping tradition will of course remain, hovewer threads not needing them will be more visible. There may be more sorting options in time too. So whaddya think? Is it even possible to implement it?
There's even more thing to improve, check here
You can beat me with sticks if You hate me for dis, I never wanted bad for this site :<

Is this suggestion good or bad?

Good, I would find it useful too.
Bad, let's keep it the way it is right now.

sorting by newest thread and by newest reply are both useful, so having an option to switch between the two would be great. as to whether it's possible or not though, I've no idea

Forgot to mention, maybe there is an extension already made I don't know about?

Ironically, this needs bumping for the good idea.

Oh well, that's why we need it cuz I didn't even saw that thread ^^ Anyway, I focused only about sorting, so it's not the same kind.. Anyway, should I close this and keep bumping Yours, or left this open?

Absolutely not! do not close it please!
We want the same
Double the thread double the chance!
I am not mad, I am grateful (no sarcasm)
Thanks!
Just put a link to my thread if you wish (you don't have to)
I will put link to your thread in my thread

Yes, this seems sensible.

While were at it could we get sticky/pinned threads? There needs to be some way for certain threads not to vanish into obscurity on here. (We have all these repository threads, guides, and etc., but it's hard to even discover what all is there, or to find them unless you already have them bookmarked.) A stickied thread would just come up first no matter which organization method you used.

Case in point. There's a ton of documentation and info but no easy way to find it. It's just generally buried along with everything else that isn't being constantly bumped.

Ideally, I think a community wiki would be a good solution. But I think a few maintained sticky threads with links could accomplish about the same thing.

Yes please, I'd like this.
It'd be easier to find new threads instead of older threads bumped 500 times by the same person.

Actually, it's surprising to see that this isn't a feature already, as basically every other forum have it...
Also, I'd suggest an upvote/downvote system <--- Scrap that, it wouldn't work as intended...
