Do you like surprises?
Legacy of Kain games are available on steam (and are pretty snazzy too), but I'm not sure about the Square Enix store ones, haven't checked. Sadly the first Blood Omen isn't on steam :( I kind of miss that one...

No, I'm pretty sure that Square is selling the games on steam too, I just don't know if they're offering steam codes or just digital downloads for the games in their own store. I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding the question, been a long day.

Oh no don't worry bout it, I think I understand what your getting at :) Btw, if they give the digital download version, can we not trade games with that or does it only work for your own Square account? Sorry for the extra questions lol I'm just curious.

If the game is offered DRM-free (basically, you just download, install and play it), I don't think there's a way to legally trade it, as it will always stay in your account. I know you can buy things as gifts in the Square store, but I don't use their store much so I can't really be of much help. I don't think that there is a way to transfer ownership of a digital download from one account to another, aside from purchasing the game as a gift in the first place.

It was tempting, until I saw that my the cart states "PC Download"....

my optimistic prediction:
1) Final fantasy -(random one idk)
2) Life is strange complete season
3) Lara croft and the temple of Osiris
4) Sleeping dogs definitive ed.
5) 1 of these games: (Tomb Raider/Just Cause 2/Thief/The Last Remnant/Murdered: Soul Suspect/Hitman Absolution Elite Edition/Deus Ex Game of the Year Edition)

I highly doubt that sleeping dogs is in it, as they stated that there won't be any cut versions in this package. Sleeping dogs and K&L 2 are only available as a cutversion in germany and SquareEnix is one of the publisher's that has a rather strict policy about releasing ROW versions here. I don't think they changed that for this surprise package.

Somewhat disappointing. On one hand it's a first time for Final Fantasy in the surprise, and XIII is a worthwhile addition to my collection, but on the other hand Thief and Life Is Strange Episode 1 are repeats and FF14 is a subscription MMO.
All in all, not sure it was worth the price, but not terrible enough to make sure I won't buy into the next one.

"don’t forget that all of the games except FFXIV will be in the form of Steam keys " shame so much repeats but happy to finally get final fantasy

To be honest the bundle is meh unless you don't have absolutely anything in it.
FFXIV requires a subscription so it will probably include just one month. It is a shame it is not the steam key to be able to trade it. That would have increased the value a lot.
Anyway I'm super happy for FFXIII, Lara Croft and Thief
Life is Strange may be only one chapter but I was super curious.

That's really annoying. After setting that precedent of not repeating things, they decide to repeat things this time around. Only the first episode of Life is Strange again, plus we get a game that requires a subscription. Last time I go in for one of these.

I don't feel cheated, but I can't say that I feel particularly excited by the content either. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris & Final Fantasy XIII seems like alright games, and owning episode 1 of Life is Strange will at least make completing the series a bit cheaper. Thief was a game that I found to be utter garbage (How many times can you get stuck in things so that you have to reload before you get so annoyed that you uinstall the game and move it into the "garbage" category in your steam library? Ask Thief, it's there for that very reason). And the MMO, well it's an MMO. Already tried it, it did not hold my interest.

Uh at least I get the new lara craft that i've been wanting. Not particularly interested in the final fantasy games but might give the steam one a go. The others I already own.
