So you still need to give them money for the games, right? Then the 'free' part of the topic is misleading.

Free but with a catch
The free part is applying the coupon :p

A nice list but you should remove the FREE part. It is misleading unless you say free coupon.

Free is assumed as the default state for coupons, so the natural approach when attempting to clarify a coupon's status would be to add "with purchase" or similar, where necessary. As such, "free" really isn't suitable for the present topic from any angle of consideration (as simply having 'free' in the title could throw off interpretation, as it's unexpected for the context).

Very tempting, The crew 2 Gold edition cheaper than Standard edition on steam, but I'm still saving for decent PC, maybe a year or two. Do you guys think I will get better price or even free in the future, or Ubisoft usually keep their price?
Comment has been collapsed.
They wont. Ubisoft drops the prices really soon after releases but the lowest you will be able to find for any of their games is 15 or 20. There is a small chance that it will be free but i dont expect that to happen until the crew 3 gets released. I am pretty sure you wont find better price than 12 euros for gold.

I'm tempted for GR: Wildlands but it still has a high price, while the successor GR: Breakpoint has been out for a while now and is at the same discount price. I guess they (Ubi) also factor in the popularity and ratings. Breakpoint is already cheap because it's bad.

Before breakpoints were released wildlands had an even lower price on sales. The last few sales it raised to 20 euros so i wouldnt be surpised if it will stay there for a really long time.

You aren't free in any country. It does not matter where you live. As long as someone else is reaping benefit of your work (in form of taxes) without making any contribution in the same, you are a slave.
At least when something is free there are no taxes involved hence it is actually much more freedom than any of the country in the world.

Broke down and bought Journey to the Savage Planet and Surviving the Aftermath. Pretty happy with the prices for those.

For anyone, trying to get FarCry 5 Gold + FarCry 3 Deluxe for $12.49 don't bother. Just get the base game for $5.99 and then get the Season pass on Uplay for $7.50. I should have done that. Now stuck with all the others trying to convince Epic noob support to add FarCry 3 Deluxe to EGS library
Comment has been collapsed.
Contact support, they will add you the far cry 3 deluxe.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes they said they add far cry 3 to collections manually. In case they give you the standard edition contact them again to upgrade your edition to deluxe. You will get it.

Heh. To be honest hate regional pricing during promotion. For example vampyr costs around 0,29pln to low (0.07 euro) to use coupon... They should make a rule with some rouding for regional prices or better decrease price of games under this limit but with rule that game can not cost less then 5 USD/Euro whatever.

$5 would be the max I'd pay for it, it's a simplified city builder. There is one minor although major issue as a city building game - it does not show exact production numbers over time nor how much each citizen consumes, nor controls over what goods they consume either.
The game uses small colored icons - yellow, grey, and green - to indicate whether the number of each production is decreasing, stable, or increasing. It makes it very hard to optimally balance the workload without exact numbers, most other games will tell you this plant makes 5 food per day with each citizen eating 1, so if you have 5 citizens, only one needs to work on food to survive while 4 can work on something else. Not this game! When crops are growing, your food stock will be decreasing with a yellow icon - your citizens eat food -, then during harvest, the stock will go up with a green icon( well duh!), this is extremely unhelpful to know whether you are growing enough food for the population before they starve - if the numbers are consistently going down, planting food now is slightly too late!
There is no option to tell your citizens to not use or eat a certain item, so if Island 2 needs warm clothes more than Island 3, your only hope is that the traders will be able to move some before your Islander 3s can use them up.
Before We Leave has its charm but lacks a lot of QoL polish for more experienced players. I still had a ton of fun.
Edit: I forgot to mention that citizens eating more variety or better prepared meals make them happier but there is no overtly stated benefit to keeping them happy compared to just eating basic potatos. The happiness mechanic is a bit useless, I only made bread and juice for fun when I had leeway.

Thanks for the nice, in-depth review. Definitely doesn't sound like something worth paying full price for, but for $5 I might still take a shot at it. It might be nice to offset more complex city builders with a simple one from time to time.
