I pay $40/mo for what is called "up to 50MPS" w cap of 350G/mo, but during the day you might be lucky to 3mbps, so the advertised rates are rarely what they say they are. In the middle of the night I might get 25-30mbps, so it's definitely dependent on time of day. I try to download at night due to this. I've had comcast before with > 25mbps plan (not currently) and I never got anywhere near 25mbps during the day. The thing w/ comcast is that it's often a promotional rate, and your actual cost will go up quite a bit after that.
I'm actually pretty happy w/ what I have now though - we get all of our TV through streaming now.

I just recently moved.
I previously had Time Warner. Price: $54usd w/ Taxes + Modem rental. 30mbps - Unlimited quota(No data caps).
Now, i have comcast. Price $50usd w/ Taxes + Modem rental. 30mbps - Unlimited quota Supposedly. Account says: "Note: Enforcement of the 250GB data consumption threshold is currently suspended."
I dumped comcast's crap gateway 2 weeks ago and bought my own modem+router. Waiting for next months bill to come in $10usd cheaper. Hopefully i dont have to call them for it.

I just recently browsing about internet provider,
I see this http://www.xfinity.com/internet-service.html
$35 a month with 25 Mbps speed unlimited
You see my country BEST (Best speed best price) internet provider cost about :
$25 with speed 8 Mbps/1 MBps max at night, with quota 20GB day + 20GB Midnight
$50 with speed 8 Mbps/1 MBps max at night, with quota 55GB
My government said that our internet price is cheap, but I don't believe it one bit.
Out of curiosity what is your internet cost and speed?
