In the last 3 years, I only observe 1 major sale (dubbed Spring sale or Lunar sale, or whatever) between Winter and Summer sale on Steam.
This year is the first time they make it big with the coin event and pig-themed background and emoticon

i'm starting to miss the "trash sales - nothing to buy - old sales were better - discounts suck - no 99% off games - i hate steam - greedy gabe" comments.
