Dead Island: Riptide (Dead Island as well, I guess), Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption, Viscera Cleanup Detail, Max Payne 3, Rock of Ages.

I'd also especially point out Anachronox. It's SUCH a crying shame that we never saw more Anachronox. I'd kill for someone to do with Anachronox as Eidos did with Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Advent Rising

I'm gonna go with No More Room in Hell. As far as zombie games go, that one is pretty damn good. Actually good enough to say it's hard to believe it's free.

The Saboteur, definitely.

Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, even though you couldn't save in the middle of a mission and the undocumented camera controls took a while to figure out (hint: hold Shift).

Sang-Froid: Tales Of Werewolfs, The Guild 2: Renaisance, Warlock: Master Of Arcane, Warlock 2: The Exiled

Woody Woodpecker: Escape from Buzz Buzzard Park.

Take On: Mars which you listed probably isn't that underrated, it's in early access so I doubt they are promoting it that much and it's for a niche target audience so I doubt it can be called underrated if it's target audience is already assumed to be small (if that makes sense)

It's funny, other than the occasional Mafia mention... all of the games being listed just aren't very good. Opposite of the "overrated games" topic.

i m a big vampire bmasquarade fan myself. but i dont think that game was underrated around the time it got out. the game was incomplete. yes it has legendary content, gameplaywise and storywise, yet it was full of bugs. i didnt even manage to complete the game in my first time...crashes crashes crashes...it was the fans who made that game playable.

the game deserves its current reputation. its all on stupid activision and troika (rip) they deserved that.

Battle vs Chess, also called Check vs Mate in some countries is also a underrated game

I have heard of half life 2:lost coast to be bad.

Binary Domain, that game very good, too bad not a lot people know about it, just because Dev is a jap company that not focus a lot of money on MArketing like EA

So......i'm not really necroing this now, r-right?

Anyway the release of Bound by Flame on Steam reminded me to remind you all about this neat little action RPG game called Mars: War Logs made by the same developers. It's only 2 GB (not sure why i'm even pointing this out but oh well), it has combat mechanism which somewhat mimics the one from Witcher 2 and the story is not bad too. There is also crafting involved, leveling up, skills etc, branching story choices etc

Be sure to get it on next sale if you can
