Have an Acer Aspire M3641. Pretty decent cpu and ram, but the graphics card is just pure crap, ati radeon hd 4350. Also, had a lot of problems dealing with mother board and bios, can't install other OS than Win Vista. Guess I'll never buy an Acer or any other branded pc again, next time I'm just gonna build it myself.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+
4 gigs of RAM
GeForce GTX 260 (factory overclocked a little bit)
3 HDD total capacity about 2300Gb
Assembled by myself few years ago. Have no reason to upgrade it cause all games work good enough at my 1680x1050 monitor.

Not sure about price, cause i'm updating it from time to time.

AMD Phenom II Black quad core 3.6 GHz, ASUS MoBo, 16 GB RAM, 2 TB HDD, 2x Radeon HD 5450 CrossfireX, 1 DVD-R/RW & 1 DVD-ROM, 550W PSU, ATX case, CyberAcoustics speakers w/subwoofer, mouse, keyboard, headset, gamepad, CRT monitor, bought the parts and assembled it myself for somewhere in the $600-$700 range. I already had some of the basic stuff (case, input devices, DVD drives, monitor).

Edit: Running Windows 7 Ultimate for OS, btw.

Because poor. I built this going on a year ago and just had one of them, when it wasn't that old yet, and it was cheaper to get a second than trying to buy one of the newer models when I upgraded recently. It gets the job done quite nicely in my experience, so why waste money when I can just wait a while and get a newer model when they get cheaper?

Edit: For example, I'm not paying 400-500 dollars, almost as much as I spent on the whole rig, for the newest AMD models. That's just insane.

Not a really good one, considering buying a new one. It is a laptop (bought it 2 years ago, for like 600€).
CPU : Intel i3 330M 2.13 GHz
4 Gigs DDR3
GPU : ATI Mobility Radeon 5650 HD
Can run many recent games, Battlefield 3 not included.

Homebuilt work PC.
CPU: Intel i5 760 2.8Ghz
GPU: ASUS GTX460 1GB 775Mhz
4 gigs of Kingston value DDR3 RAM

Runs pretty most games pretty adequately. It wasn't really meant for gaming, since I was mostly gaming on my X360 when I bought it. But the Steam game sales turned me over quickly.
