What's your all time favorite FPS gun?

It's not really a gun per se, but I have a ton of fun using the Gravity Gun from HL2 and killing enemies in clever ways.

Lets see

The Aug rifle from CS
BFG from Doom series.
The controllable rocket from UT series.
All the weapons from the original Blood game.

Railway Rifle from Fallout 3. It brought out my deep seeded psychopathic side, cause shooting a person in the head took it off and spiked it on a wall.

Postal 2 unzipped pants (this is my rifle, this is my gun)

Perfect Dark 64 has some fantastic weapons - the Laptop Gun (a submachine gun that can be deployed as a sentry), FarSight (can see and shoot through walls), and Slayer (fires remote controlled rockets) to name three of my favourites.

I guess that would be a tie between the Boneduster from Bulletstorm (shotgun so powerful it can rip a guy in half in close range, it's alternative fire shoots out a shockwave that liquifies enemies to the bones) and Stake Gun from Painkiller (fires giant wooden stakes that pin enemies to walls and is sometimes powerful enough to make said enemies' limbs get torn off, works as a grenade launcher as it's alternative fire... oh, also you can fire a grenade then immediately shoot a stake trough it to use it as a makeshift rocket launcher)... Also I guess the Electrodriver from Paikiller because it shoots shurikens, lightning and shurikens made of lightning. :D

Hard to tell. I usually adapt to the situation and always carry different types of guns. However, I have favourite sets - when can carry only two, in most cases I would choose some assault rifle or other rapid gun plus sniper rifle or similar, if more I'd take also shotgun and something explosive (e.g. rocket launcher).

But if I'd have to choose one particular weapon I'd probably say STG-44 from CoD series. I pick it up almost every time.

The Sten submachine gun from return To Castle Wolfenstein. An elegant weapon for those who like class when killing nazis. And it actually existed in real life which is cool. My second choice would probably be between that sick grenade launcher from Bulletstorm, the flack cannon from Unreal Tournament 2004 or the Stake gun from Painkiller.

UMP45 from just about every COD game.

Add Kick and Rapid Fire perks and you have a typical COD player.
