hi there!

I still have a FFXIV:ARR Digital Collectors Edition Key lying around. Is anyone interested in playing this game? you know.. PLAYING, because you can't add it to your steam library and increase your game count by 1.

If you are interested simply tell me 3 Reasons why you should get the Key.

i know this is not a steamgift... but it's a gift and we had origin stuff here, too =)

Here are my reasons:

1- Got invited to early Final Fantasy XIV Alpha back in 2010. I was excited but turned out to be crappy.
2- Got invited again for Final Fantasy XIV:ARR in closed beta stage 2, and this time I really like it.
3- I was thinking in buying the game, since I liked the beta and got two friends playing it and I'm not playing any other MMO at the moment.

Thanks for giving away an awesome game to the community :)

Hi, saw this and was like omgwtfbbqsauce really excited to see this being given away!! I'm an old school mmo player and have played most mmo's or at least took a look into them and this is the only one recently that caught my eye.
So here's the 3 reasons why I want this game. And thanks for this awesome giveaway!

  1. I've been watching alot of good reviews on this game and think I'd have a good time playing it for an extended amount of time.
  2. I miss playing a decent mmo after being a long time World of Warcraft player I recently quit for good, don't like where the game is going/grew out of it.
  3. I planned on getting this game eventually when online sales were brought back up but hey It would be awesome to save that money to spend on all the mountain dew and munchies I'll need while leveling. :D

Here are my reasons:

  1. I LOVE the Final Fantasy series.
  2. I have played and beat all the US released Final Fantasy's to date.
  3. I beta tested this game and loved every second of it, mostly the level sounds and battle sounds that remind me of playing the older games.

Win or not, it's nice of you to make the giveaway. Thanks!

I'd be super interested if it was for ps3 since I highly HIGHLY doubt my computer would run it. Played the beta on ps3 and it was awesome and beautiful. I really wanna get a Carbuncle summon.

To be honest, I didn't like this game in the earlier Beta stages.
But I still decided to play the last of the Closed Beta phase, I noticed that they really worked on some things, that weren't so great in the other Betas.
So, I got more into the game and began to really like it's style and the friendly community.
However, as none of my friends wanted to play it with me, I never bought the game after Beta.
But recently a friend of mine just bought the game, he didn't really even know why at first, however he is still playing. x)
Now that I have someone to play with, I would really appreciate the key.

Sooo, here are my reasons:

  1. I already played the Beta and know that I like the game, so I won't quit it right afterward.
  2. I'm totally no Piefke, as you can see in my Steam profile. Totally the Belgian flag! So you can also play with me, if you want.
  3. My birthday is this month. :s Nah, tbh, my 3rd reason would be, that I like the FF series, but that's why everyone is participating in this giveaway... so, whatever. :P

Thank you for this nice giveaway!

I don't really think there are viable reasons why anyone should get it. You could say that you're the biggest Final Fantasy fan and you love MMOs, however that doesn't mean you'll play it. And someone who doesn't like FF or really play a lot of MMOs might have a great time playing it. The generic "I've been a fan forever" answer could be a complete lie, too.
So everyone's reasons will be pretty much the same, including mine.

  1. I had fun with the beta and would like to play the full game.
  2. [Insert oblivious reason, something about wanting to play it, but construed to be something meaningful. Even though it's not.]

  1. I have personally become a fan of Final Fantasy after playing the 7th one during my childhood.

  2. I participated during the beta and I really enjoyed the game, just have no money for it right now.

  3. I personally spend lots of time on MMORPGS, like WoW and such.

and just as a side note, unlike most other participants, I'll actually play it AND pay the monthly fee that I bet they didn't know about. ;D

Would love to have the key.
First reason is - I'm a huge fan of MMO's. I've been playing games in the genre for 10 years now, starting with EverQuest,WoW, Guild Wars. I've never played any Final Fantasy MMO's though which is why I'm very interested in trying out this game. It seems like an interesting game with cool concepts like switching your class without creating a new character.

Second reason is - I will play the game for sure, it will NOT be for filling up my backlog of games, I will actually play it since I like MMO's so much. I'm very much certain that I will enjoy this MMO too!

Third reason - A friend of mine seems interested in the game aswell. We've both been watching livestreams of the game and we would play together when we have the game, but it's not possible for me to get the game right now.

Thank you genbatzu for the chance at the game!

  1. I love MMOs, they are my favourite genre. I had Pre-Ordered FFIV but was disappointed with launch and cancelled it, would like to checkout Reborn!
  2. FF is a Japanese series and I'm in Japan right now, I think we both agree that it just makes sense.
  3. If you don't pick me I'll add every game you've given away to the bundle list so you are stuck at $30 Contributor.. FOREVER

  1. I'm just a fan of the series, played almost all of games, except a few.
  2. A couple of my friends are playing it, real life friends, and I want to play with them.
  3. I will be honest on this one, I don't play an mmo in ages, but this is the ONLY one that I'm hyped for and really into the mode for playing.

That's all, thanks for the change good sir.

Played most FF (on multiple systems (tactics on GBA/NDS, 1&2 on GBA, 3 on NDS, 6 on NES&PS, rest on PS)).
Love the FF series, was in ARR beta.
I'll actually play for hours and hours. I'm a 100%-er.

Let's see...

  1. I was in the latest beta, I think that should speak for itself. You can check my screenshots from it on my Steam profile. I really enjoyed what I saw. I think it's the only subscription-based MMO at the moment which I would be willing to play. WoW wasn't my kind of theme, but Final Fantasy is, always loved shifts from classic Tolkien-inspired fantasy. My PC seems good enough to run it too.
  2. I'm a long-time fan of the series, so I get the "fanservice" references like Cid, moogles, cactuars etc. Where are Wedge and Biggs? Didn't see them in beta, hm. :)
  3. What I experienced in beta felt very well suited for my playing style. I love the fact that it's a very story driven game, and there are lots of great cutscenes, that's a very important aspect in an MMO for me, as I love it when games have good stories with great presentation. And I made a character who looks just like real me, I can't leave him now. :(
