So do you?
I could, but my phone's camera is terrible and I can't think of anything I would want to film.

You mean in general? Yeah I used to have lots of videos I took of my baby cousins being cute and funny. Last video was probably of the fireworks on new year's eve. If it's about video game related videos I only capture the weird glitches I get on ps3.

I pretty much film my cat only. He's 5 months old, does a lot of cute/funny things and my phone's camera is the nearest thing I can use to film him.

Yes, but it doesn't bother me. I only show my recordings to family or friends on some ocasions. If I wanted to upload them anywhere, I would propably think about getting them stable.

Phone's camera is useful for unexpected events, but I prefer sth that gives better quality for planned events.

Yes I do, (with S3) though kinda rarely, like once a month or two or so. Mostly on trips.

Unless there something immediately needing to be recorded, I tend to use my phone's camera just for pictures. I do have some videos but to be honest most of those were done by my husband. They are quite random and mostly have to do with family or trucking.
I have done some video editing in the past though. Sorry I missed your earlier thread.

I shoot some random videos and some stupid cat videos

Shaky video + it is more practical. Kind of hard taking video with telephone while riding dirt-bike or quad :)

I filmed a wasp nest once, but I rarely use my phone's camera, and when I do it's usually fir pictures, not video.

i used to shoot videos a lot back in college when i could borrow the school's canon 600d.
i personally dun own a profession camera, 'cos since im only a bare minimum hobbiest i just use my phone.
i used to shoot n edit things for school projects, but now i just do it occasionally just for fun. i love scenery pics, so i take them myself too.

i have stable hands, so back then when i used 600d, plus that mode that prevents the shakiness, i was able to submit it without having to do just that. now that i use my phone, it's sorta shaky but decent, so i didn't bother.
i just go ahead and fix the colors instead.

I got a sony action cam for shooting videos, and a video camcorder for shooting videos with good quality. I only use my phone's camera to make a quick picture of some math formulas or results to send them to my university-friends.

I do. Because if you let the cameras reduce the shaking, a lot of picture quality is lost. If external video programs on pcs do that, they got more time and thus lose less quality.
Also, on action videos you do not have to reduce it if you know how to create a proper video. you just need a stable object (helmet, ...) that is permanently in the video and moves together with the camera picture. Then, your audience will be able to fix their eyes at that and they will not even notice the shaking anymore.

I'm not gonna reveal any information just yet but, this is a general survey about how many of you shoot video on mobile/camera occasionally. A few days back, I had asked if there were video editors in the community but that didn't show any interested users... so i decided to generalise my question.
DO YOU SHOOT VIDEO?
Please drop a comment if you shoot video. I'm having a temporary whitelist giveaway.
Giveaway is of this software - http://store.steampowered.com/app/364240/
