I was wondering the same thing in the past - this is my opinion now - I just don't care.
I do have exactly 0 people on my blacklist, but that's just how I am.

People be people, they bl for no thanks, for disagreeing, for being insulted, for no reason whatsoever - they just can.
And I've learned to accept that, not care and move on. I give this advice to you also.

Most people blacklist for the stupidest reasons. And they will never tell you why. So I take it now as an 'it is what it is' attitude.

It really does feel like blacklists are just random sometimes, let me know if you figure it out, the info could come in handy.

most people blacklisted me after i created a ramadan thread. some people hate muslims i guess. and i also got blacklisted by some folks after i, was a newbie on sg and didnt really bothered to read the rules of the site and tried to give away a game i won because i didnt like it lol.

I actually had a look at my stats and there's at least some correlation between the number of comments I post and how many blacklists I'm on. So clearly I'm a shitposter and should just lay low.

I just checked mine to see how many I have and to be honest, it doesn't bother me. My own blacklist is tiny, and it will remain that way. The blacklist is away in the back and you don't see it unless you go looking for it. Also, you'll never see giveaways pop up that you are blacklisted from entering, so it's not going to have any effect on your experience here. It's not a big deal. =)

I saw someone say they wanted more than 1,000 slots, that made me giggle because if the limit was 50, I probably still would never reach the max.

If I were you, I wouldn't care about the reasons. People will sometimes have spurious reasons and that's cool. They might have made up reasons, that's cool. They are free to blacklist who they want, but it works both ways. It would bug me if they could still enter my GAs, but since they can't... all good.

Stop worrying about the reasons, and don't be afraid to post on the forum and be part of the community. Someone out there is going to decide that they don't like your personality based on what is basically a text message. That's okay too. They're free to think that way. =)
