Your favorite cartoons as a kid?

Looney Tunes / Merry Melodies, the Cartoon Cartoons lineup, a fair chunk of the Toonami lineup, the first season of SATAM, the first season of Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Digimon Adventure 01 and 02. Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Invader Zim (this was mostly because I loved his comics... I was a warped kid, okay?)...

Shame that most of the stuff geared towards girls was the oldschool My Little Pony, Polly Pocket, and Strawberry Shortcake. The handful of regularly appearing girls in non-girl targetted cartoons were still super girly and/or ditzy and/or pathetic wimps whiiiiich pretty much sums up the girl-shows.

Star Trek TOS. Allo Allo. M.A.S.H. I know, not a cartoon, that's what I watched when I was a kid :P Never was a big fan of cartoons. Comic books, yes. Asterix & Obelix, Lucky Luke, Thorgal. Later on Spawn.

Ah! I watched some cartoons. DuckTales it was called I believe... Still I prefered Donald Duck comic books. Better plots :P

Started watching cartoons later in my life. Now I'm quite familiar with all the older stuff. Tried those Japanese works... But it's either for older audiences and very pompous, full of pathos, or for young ones, and that no longer interests me.

Hmm I'll try think of some I watched that I haven't seen listed here already.

Didn't have cable as a kid, and didn't really watch too much TV in general, but I remember seeing some absolutely awful show called Coconut Freddy or something, remember watching Teen Titans for a period of time, animated Batman, and something called Static Shock.

That, and the Fresh Prince.

Shaman King (TV channel never finished the whole series, planning to watch it again soon. Also the mangas are way more adult then the anime XD)

I'm just going to leave this here: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Every single cartoon that played on Cartoon Network or FoxKids/Jetix/DisneyChannel between... about 1996 and 2007-8. The East European version of the channels though, so I'm not sure if they aired the same shows as the rest of the world.

I still remember being freaked out by that one episode in Courage the Cowardly Dog with the were-mole. Oddly, ONLY that episode... and none of the other messed up shit that happen in that show. XD

When I tried watching some stuff again lately (with my 5 year old nephew), I can't help but think the newer stuff are utter crap. Guess that's nostalgia working. :/
