Alundra
Breath of Fire III
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Resident Evil 1-3
Grandia
Legend of Dragoon
Tony Hawks Pro Skater
are the ones I have on my psp running, i can recommend every single one of them.
But if you use psx2psp some games from this list wont work correctly without doing some more stuff, for example the Resident Evil games needed extra programms, sadly its too long ago I cant remember what I did to get them working. (maybe Google can help you)

I'd recommend Legend of Dragoon, enjoyed it at least as much if not more than final fantasy games on the PS1 and was disappointed that there wasn't ever a sequel.

I was young back then as well, so I only played games casually and didn't care about story or anything else.
So I just gonna make a list of games I would want to play again.
Silent Hill
Resident Evil
Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy 7
Crash Bandicoot
And for dem feels GTAI, London and II

Chrono Cross (One of the best RPG games ever made on any platform. Story is interesting, combat system is unique and really good in my opinion. There's 45 playable characters, lot of them very unique and interesting and each with their own special abilities. Very nice and soundtracks. Awesome spells, especially special abilities of some characters are freaking epic. This is a game you really don't want to miss. Absolute must-play)
Digimon World 3 (Great RPG that you can spend a lot of time on, it even has CCG so you can collect cards and fight NPC's when you don't feel like advancing with the story or leveling your digimons, the story itself is pretty decent I loved it. And you can replay it multiple times due to different digimon pack choices at the beginning)
Vagrant Story (Interesting combat system, weapon crafting)
Breath of Fire 3 & 4 (Breath of Fire are my favorite RPG series. Story in them is usually always interesting and fun. Graphically they're pretty interesting as well. Overall a must play games for any RPG player)
Dino Crisis 2 (You kill dinosaurs. And it's fun. Very fun. I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed this game, because I wasn't expecting much from it and it turned out to be pretty good)
C-12 Final Resistance (Very good third person shooter.)
There's lot more of course, PS1 had some really great games. Unfortunately I can't remember anything else at the moment.

Digimon World 1 is not for everyone since you have to feed your digimon, take it to toilet and all that stuff. Plus raising a digimon just so it dies of age (and that happens quickly) and then having to raise a new one all over again from the egg can be a bit annoying. Not to mention the feel when you raise an awesome digimon you like and have him die and turn into an egg.
Digimon World 2 was not bad but I still didn't bother mentioning it because the digivolution mechanic is kinda meh. You have to constantly combine digimons to raise their EL so you could keep digivolving them and improving them.

It's true that the first one is more akin to a tamagotchi (and it can be quite frustrating at first) but the game itself great once you get the hang of it (unless your first champion is Tyrannomon, then you're screwed up xD).
I personally enjoyed the second one a lot, though I must admit you'd spend a lot of time grinding and fusing just to raise the EL and the level cap.

Guys, i was like 5 years old, too young for tekken, fps games and these xD
Well, with psx2psp I can play any ps1 games on my psp (soooo much nostalgia)
So, I remember myself playing spyro when I was really young, I've finished it yesterday.
I'm looking for some other good PS1 games which maybe I know but do not remember..
I remember these:
Spyro series
Crash series
Alfred the chicken
Stuart little 2
Tom and jerry
Aladdin
Sheep, dog n wolf (i think it's called like that) (or sheep raider)
ape escape
pacman
Oh and in my opinion PS1 games are great, today's games are boring games with only good graphics
