I never did understand the minimum comment requirements. During a busy sale season, one could max out on points in a day. Given an average entry cost of say, 30 points, one would require at least 5 posts a day. Is that a reasonable absolute minimum? I don't know. I don't envy the ones (like me) who really like to enter all Magicka, Dungeon Defenders DLC giveaways they can find.
I'd prefer people post if they have something worth while to say.

From the rules: Always thank submitters. Thanking is not required to enter a giveaway.
This is a bit of a paradox. I consider it to mean, you should be thanking submitters, but it's not strictly required to enter a giveaway (because 100% token "thanks-so-I-can-enter" spam would be even worse). But at the same time, I'm not required to make giveaways for people.
My limitation is not perfect, and I've excluded several people who go for quality over quantity. However, my goal was to exclude people who have behaviour patterns of, like, 1,200 giveaways and 27 comments. I mean, really, that's just not even trying.
Before I switched to contributor giveaways (when they became possible), I was only even being contacted by the winner to say thanks after the giveaway completed about 70% of the time. On paper that sounds good, but that means 30% of the people who received free games from me didn't even have the courtesy to say thank-you. I'm not making giveaways for those people anymore.
It's imperfect, but SG doesn't allow me to determine how many "thanks for skyrim" comments someone's made versus thoughtful, engaging posts on the forums. If it did, I'd integrate that into the limitations.

Unfortunately, you do not qualify. I'll explain as simply as I can, since I don't think I could translate into Spanish any better.
In order to qualify, you need to have made a comment for every two giveaways you entered. You have entered 994 giveaways, and made 4 comments. This is, unfortunately, too low. I can understand that the language problem might make it difficult. Thank you for asking. I hope I have made it clear. :D

Always have been giving positive comments even when I don't enter and it's nice giveaway, or thanking private one. Never abused indie bundles, always bought just one for myself and haven't abused guns of icarus beta thing either.

Aaaaactually, you do not meet them. Your comment ratio is below 1:2. At 505 comments, your giveaways would need to be below 1010 to have the right ratio.

I'm one of the users who choose to provide content over fluff. That being said, I support your right to decide how to giveaway a game you purchased.

It's been almost three years, so it's got a lot of cruft built up that's going to be good to leave behind. GTAIV might even be playable now!
I just didn't expect to be doing it in a command-line recovery console. I would've preferred to do it in a more controlled fashion. Thank you for being a part of the community, especially for choosing quality over quantity. :D

You're probably doing something like this atm but incase you aren't; pop the HDD(s) into another box and/or external enclosure. Take ownership of the folder(s) and transfer the files over.
It's a whole different can of worms if your HDD is about to mechanically fail. In which case I feel for you as it's happened to me multiple times on different rigs.
Hope you don't make the decision to keep Windows Media Player off your reinstall cause it brings about I one heck of a headache getting certain games that need WMP to play movies even when you specify another default media player. (Argh, run-on sentence, I fail at grammar)

The HDD is entirely intact, it's just abandoned any pretense of having a boot record, for some reason. Pulling the drives would be, quite honestly, more than it would be worth, especially since I can just throw them from one drive to the other in the recovery console. But, yeah, in essence, same idea.
I put WMP in a corner but still allow it to live on the machine.

TL;DR THIS GIVEAWAY HAS SPECIAL LIMITATIONS AND YOU WILL GET NOTHING IF YOU ENTER BUT DON'T QUALIFY
So, I decided to give away the Deus Ex collection. This is Deus Ex GOTY, Deus Ex Invisible War, and Deus Ex: HR everything. I have decided to make it a private giveaway, but publically share the giveaway on the forums, in order to enforce special limitations. These limitations have already been approved by support.
Limitation #1: You cannot have abused the Guns of Icarus Online beta keys from earlier this week. If you created giveaways to share online beta keys, don't enter, I'll reroll if you win. Note: I will not be searching the forums for beta key threads, and I will be checking if you made legit Icarus giveaways. If you made a legit Guns of Icarus (not online) giveaway and did it properly, you're fine.
Limitation #2: You cannot have abused indie bundle keys before the rule change. This will have a certain amount of wiggle room, since it's hard to define abuse, but if you have given away like 5 of the same set of games that all happen to be in the same indie bundle (who would actually buy 5 copies of Ironclads, Beat Hazard, Before the Storm, and Razor2 and decide to give them all away without getting an Indie Gala bundle?), yeah, you're out.
Limitation #3: I want to reward people who have been active in the community, and so I will be enforcing a requirement of one comment per two giveaways entered. If you entered, say, 100 giveaways, you'd better have at least 50 comments or else you're not going to be given the game if you win. Note that this will be measured after the giveaway ends, so be careful if you're close to the minimum when you enter. To test if you're reading, this is the giveaway code: 1LKUe. I'm not making a link for it. Do not help anyone who asks what the link is in the comments, it's their fault for not reading the limitations. I must stress that this is not an excuse to begin spamming the forums to build up your post count. You'll be liable to whatever punishment the mods decide, and if I catch you, I will force a reroll as well as ticket you if the mods haven't already been notified that you're crapflooding to build your post count.
It's important to know that none of these restrictions count number of wins, or age of account, or contributor value. This specifically does not have a minimum contributor requirement because the other limitations.

UPDATE (3:30pm PST GMT-0700 August 4): My computer vomited all over itself and decided it doesn't know how to boot anymore. I'm currently in the process of grabbing all of my files off of it in preparation for a nuke and pave clean install of Windows 7. As a result, I won't be as active as usual. However, this should be taken care of by tomorrow, and it will definitely be taken care of before the giveaway ends. None of the rules have changed, I'm just occupied with more important things. Thanks for your patience, everyone.
