It would take a long time to go through them all because I'm old! :)

The earliest games I remember playing were on my Atari 2600. I had a few games, but the only one I really remember is Centipede

I also played some Spectrum games at my cousin's place or at my friend's, two that spring to mind are Paperboy and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

From around 8 into my early teens, I had an Amiga 500, then an Amiga 1200. Lots of games for these, but some of the more memorable ones are:
Altered Beast 2
Golden Axe
The Settlers
Turrican 2
Lemmings
Speedball 2
The Chaos Engine
Cannon Fodder
Sensible Soccer
Another World
Flashback
Populous 2
Mega lo Mania
Dune 2
Alone in the Dark 2
There are lots more on the Amiga! I used to copy games on floppy disk from my friends, and even bought some pirated games from a guy who advertised in a local paper. He'd send a list of games printed on a dot matrix printer and had a set price per floppy disk, so I could get a lot of games pretty cheap.

After the Amiga, we get into what is probably more familiar territory for people on SG. I had a Playstation with games like Tekken, Wipeout, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, before moving onto a PC.

When I got different PC games is a bit difficult to remember. One game I still have the CDs for (somewhere!) is Blade Runner. I never got very far in the game, but it looked nice! I had Duke Nukem and Fallout New Vegas, Deus ex, and Rise of Nations before joining Steam. Not sure what else.

I joined Steam in 2011, I think. I bought The Orange Box from a store to install on the platform, and I think the first game I bought online from Steam was Lead and Gold.

A year ago I bought the Armiga emulator to play my collection of Amiga games I gathered over the years (I think I basically "own" every Amiga game ever released. About 9 gb of floppies if I'm remember right). Truth is, they didnt age really well. Its fun to watch some good old intro's and demos and play a little but I get bored quickly. Times have changed.

I have fond memories of Blade Runner as well. It was beautiful. Cant remember if I ever finished it though.

And I had a psx too. Tony Hawk 2 was the game.

Looks like we have a lot in common ;)

I remember trying a few old games and being very disappointed with them. I guess it's best to just keep the good memories!

Even the Tony Hawk 2 screenshots look very bad these days. I'm hoping that a new skateboarding game will let me relive the days of chaining tricks! Skater XL and Session have potential.

I recognize your SG icon from my childhood too, Thundercats! We must have a lot in common :)

I was the biggest fan of GTA: VIce City. The first game I owned. I played it for probably over a thousand hours. San Andreas was also pretty alright. Bully blew me away too.
Also a shitload of shovelware games that I got for a cheap price at grocery stores and stuff :D

Seems that Rockstar happened to be very close to my childhood accidentally.

Didn't play this certain part, but looks the same. Yeah, it was real fun with weird super-shots and glorious animation.

I remember some tactics about it. Special shots could be stopped with players after knock-out, so you're playing like in hockey - some kind of human shield, trying to move more players on the line of the shot.

I played a lot of adventure games in the Amiga 500 days (Future Wars, Operation Stealth, Lure of the Temptress and pretty much all Lucasart and Sierra adventures) and games like Fire Power (splitscreen vs my brother), Giana Sisters, Turrican, Shadow of the Beast, Terry's big adventure, pinball fantasies, escape from Colditz.
First pc game I played was one of the Commander Keen games.
