Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica (KILL ALL THOSE BITCHES! Most annoying show ever)

One Piece (I like this anime but the pacing Is wayyyyyyyyyyy too slow, better than fillers though)

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (Must not sleep)

Fairy Tail (Giant boobs, ripped off characters, what could be more appealing for pre-teens?)

Id say that the most overrated animes are Naruto, Bleach and One Piece (possibly Death Note, FMA, Hellsing). That doesn't meant they're necessarily bad, they're just stupidly overrated...

Inside the "otaku community" there may be some series that we might consider overrated, but when people who are not into anime (wannabe otakus) can't shut up about those specific 3 series, that's when you know it's freaking overrated...

It's my opinion, Gits is the most boring anime I've ever watched. I have never felt a tension while watching it, the only reason to watch it is to hear the conclusion at the end of the episode, but up to that point there are the philosophical discussions which totally make me wanna sleep. They don't do anything to further the plot, or reveal backstory, just eat up screentime and add more bizarre and convoluted interpretations of the plot.

Well, like the wise man said, de gustibus non est disputandum... But I loved the Ghost in the Shell stuff. Well, there was a movie that had a bit too much of people quoting books at each-other, but otherwise... :)

And the music, loved that too. Not fair for someone to be that talented... :)

Fairy Tail, One Piece (boooooring >_>), Naruto (do I really have to explain this?), Bleach (meh, can't stand the art style), Soul Eater... anyways, I gotta say every anime I found out through other people wes actually overrated, maybe it's because their fans talk about it like it's the best thing that ever happened to them, or maybe I'm just hard to please.. whatever.

Fairy Tail. At beginning was cool but then Mashima started to mess with the plot and was intent on only adding fanservice. Now, it is just a shell of its former self.

There's a lot of underrated stuff too, just the popular stuff is overrated. For some reason no one touches anime that came before 2008 and aren't HD for some reason. Even though some 90s anime have better animation than lots of anime they make today. And they look better.

Naruto... I skip all the fillers, but even so isn't good enough, and for me the last episodes become absurd/inconsistent.

I now One Piece is slow, but I love it, I just wait until I have about 10 episodes and skip intros. I think it´s because - not reaching the manga - making fillers.

Seriously, I don't get people who love anime about 3-5 girls doing cute things. They are all about characters, usually average or bad ones. You either like them or not. And I hate them, series like that are boring, not clever, and serve no real purpose. And every season, there's an anime like that. Because it sells. And they are actually getting worse and worse.
