Well, you know, people who talk a lot about being loyal, in my experience are the first ones to break loyalty.
Something similar to what you described happened to me last year, but in real life. I had been friends with a woman for almost ten years, and she was someone I admired a lot. By extension of that friendship, I was also friends with her long term boyfriend - they weren't married, but for all their friends actually they were "forever". Then one day, he called me. She had broken up with him and he was devastated. He had been so out of his mind that he had left his car in their holiday location, and now he felt that he was much too agitated to drive. But as he needed his car for finding a new appartment and the like, he asked me if I could get his car from there. It was quite clear to me that I was way from the first person he had called about that as I had always been more of her friend than his. What I didn't understand at that time is why he hadn't found anyone but me to drive there with him and get his car.
Well, of course, I did it. We went there - across the hole country one way in train, the other in his car. I got him home, he thanked me a lot and I promised to help. And I really did. I was there for him during the next couple of weeks. Once, I called emergency as he had drunken a lot and taken sleeping pills (luckily not enough to kill himself). A couple of nights I spent with him taking, even though at times I had to work the next day. I went to a lawyer with him as his ex girlfriend tried to kick him out of their common house without any refund for his part of paying for he. It tried to talk to her, but to no avail - she was just a bitch, and my admiration for her vanish more quickly than I had ever thought possible. He always told me how much he appreciated my help.
Then, one day, he didn't great back when I send him my morning greating through facebook. He didn't answer back the hole day. I tried to call, and he didn't answer. I wrote mails, no answer. It took him a week to tell me what was up: He had a new girlfriend. Hadn't had any "time" to get back to me and tell me. For a couple of weeks after that, at least he kept contact to me. One night, when he was down again as his ex had been nasty again and he couldn't sleep, he called me. Obviously, his new girlfriend caught him that time. He cut the phone call with me and didn't call back. And afterwards, he only called me from work. Well, I didn't realized at that time.
And then, his calls got fewer and fewer. For my birthday, I just received a bland and short message via facebook. It was quite clear that his new girlfriend didn't want him to have any contact with me. No matter to her that I was the only one to help him when he needed someone. No matter to him, either, I guess, if his girlfriend might not be pleased with him talking to me ...
For christmas, I didn't get any message from him at all ...
I guess, now I understand why there wasn't anyone to help him when his ex broke up with him. Friendship doesn't mean anything. He's good at talking about being grateful, but if it means taking the effort of keeping contact or sending a personal message ... well, that's too much.
The worst thing is that it still matters to me what happens to him. It is quite clear to me (and for that matter to some of his colleagues who talked to me about him as well) that his new girlfriend is only using him and will most probably drop him when he is no longer of any use to her. Just that his colleagues thought I could do anything about it, but I can only wait for it to happen.
When he'll be calling me again desperately needing someone to help him because his new girlfriend has dropped him and there's nobody willing to help, I still don't know what I'm going to do ...

While it's true that it's not polite to cut someone off like that and i'm really sorry for the OP; he does seem a little too high-maintenance and that can get old fast for some people. IMO there was not a "right" or polite way to end their friendship, it would have awkward anyway.
Life goes on, in 6 years on Steam not once i have added or being added by someone that is not realted to SG and i think it saved me from a lot of awkwardness :D

Oh kapy, I'm sorry hug
Guess you tried to tell me about this the other day. That sucks :(
Like really sucks. But you still have Kat! And Kat makes the world look better, right? Well, sometimes she probably doesn't, but we can ignore those moments :)

Well, i'm my personal opinion things like that happens and u will have to deal with it not once, not twice, but a lot of times, everyone in life is expendable... the most important thing about life is being happy and enjoying everything has long has it last :3 always remember the good times and dont overdo or force things to go more than they should. If u are in love and u thinkg that the relationship is toxic and is not being good anymore, is better to leave it like that and split than being together and hurting each other, same with friendships ... people come and go, the most important thing is to be happy with the people that u meet and always give 100% of yourself at eatch thing that u do, work, personal life, love, etc. Just take your time to get yourself together again and make some new friends :3 do not worry because eventually u gonna find new friends and stuff, no worries :3 ~

lesson learned? don't give a fuck about anyone.
'to thine own self be true' is the way to go. most people either annoy or disappoint so i mostly don't bother with any.
in case you insist on having people around:
if you fall for the wrong people over and over again you'll have to review your way of finding and making new friends. obviously something is wrong with the process.

Well, only dogs loyal, not people. And expecting loyalty from someone means comparing them to a dog. And if it's a girl, to the female dog. It's like calling her "b**ch". Small wonder she deleted you!
Sorry, it's just my stupid way of joking. Didn't mean to insult anyone. I just use to do stupid jokes when I feel bad, so I do the same to people that feel bad too, hoping that will help them too. The part about dogs is true though, they are really loyal, you may consider getting one. I prefer cats - they are fluffy and don't stink (but not loyal)

I think my River Kitty is the same way. She would most likely cuddle with you and share her love that way.

Not really classy indeed, but clearly, it's not worthy to be upset about her, you'll find people who 'll value your friendship eventually, and I hope erverything will turn out great for you.
Cheers :)

First off, excuse me for no gift inside or for making a rant, about it. But I just got no where else to do it and it will be eating me for weeks if I don't share it.
Here it goes. Few months ago, I got betrayed in many ways by my life "friends". So I started giving more time to my online "friends". There was this girl, she was bit odd and stuff. We talked, had fun and stuff. Passed for weeks. Told her my sob story with the life "friends" and stuff, she then said she wont be like them and just be an ass and leave. Sure I believed. Had to observe her drama with a weirdo and stuff. The last time we actually chatted, I forced myself to play CSGO with her on the American servers clearly and my penalty for that chose was 150 ping of course. Truth be told we had fun and stuff. Then she went silent for few days. Then I found out I got deleted... Ask people who we were common friends. She avoided the questions.
Few days ago I noticed she didn't delete me yet on discord and as a joke told her that she forgot to do it... Then she replies with "I'll fix that" and blocks me.
To be honest. I didn't care that much for the person. Hell she can have a happy life from now far as I care... The thing that eats me and pisses me off, is how easily her "promise" was broken... How she just lied to me. I heard she found a girlfriend or something... I mean c'mon if it was because of it, you could of easily just said it.
One thing I hate most in the world. Broken loyalty or simply said, lying. Hopefully I'll manage to rest my mind after doing my little rant.
P.S for someone to claim to be an adult, that move was pretty immature of her. If she sees it, she could just pass away. I would prefer if she doesn't try to be part of my life anymore. Not matter if online or not.
P.S.2 I don't recommend the new underworld. too many actors, too little acting.
