You will need a hard drive with it. Not sure about price you will get for it though.

No, since it didn't come with one we don't need one. It the Arcade model without a harddrive. But we bought one there (120 or 200+ gb, thinking 120gb)
They just wouldn't take it on the spot since we needed the controller with it. The hard drive is counted as an accessory.

When friend took in an Arcade, they demanded a hard drive and controller as required.

Hmm, never said a thing about the HD, guessing maybe stores differ?

Could also be something to keep in mind with different workers, some might count the hard drive as required themselves. Mostly because almost every system uses it.

Since it's Gamestop, they'll probably give you 3 pennies and a tube of toothpaste.

They offered me 12 cents "Cash" for my Modern Warfare 2 LMAO, no joke at all. Gave my brother $4 for MW3 a month after it came out!
There console trade in prices are much better though.

So probably like $75 w/ the refurb fee? Any clue on the HD?
^ $25 + $50, $25 w/o the $50 sound right?
Really dropped in price, they offered $80 like 2 months ago lmao.

I'm in the US, and they "said" $80, may have been BS to get us to bring it in so they could get it cheap (IE, thinking we wouldn't leave empty handed), or maybe they were running a promotion then too.

I was considering trading in my nearly broken x360, the white one with no hard drive, all cords, and 1 controller, guy said id get 90$

Really? When was this? That seems like a good price actually.

I just traded in a 4GB slim for 110 yesterday. Only included the controller and basic cables that came with the box...I believe they are also doing +50% on all trade in games right now too

Yep I saw that, unfortunantly all my games I'd trade are worth pennies lol.

Having worked with the company for just over a year, make sure your system is clean, wipe it down where needed and remember to bring your I'd for the trade. Since the disc drive is broken they'll have to add a refurb fee to fix it unless it works the one time they need to play test the 360 and or if you don't mention the disc drive being faulty. If you get the red ring on the way, which I have seen actually happen before, then they'll still take it in.

Any clue as the what the refurb fee is? Just so I can have a rough estimate of what I will get for it.

At most the system is probably $100 due to the next xbox getting closer to release. The refurb fee is probably $10.
You're looking at $90. Bring some games to get the extra 50% on games and accessories(doesn't count towards systems)
EDIT: NVM

Another gamestop question, can I use the store credits on their website to buy PC downloadable games? Or does it have to be in the physical store?
Comment has been collapsed.
Either one works. Just let them know that the games with (S) are steam and (O) are origin. Usually they don't know since there's no pc training from the company as far as selling pc games as that HAS to come from experience while working with the company.

Well, I got $90 (believe it or not!) in store credit for it, amazing deal!

Okay, I am going to trade my old 360 in tomorrow, they are offering $50 on top of whatever they will give.
How much will they give for it + the $50? It is in nice cosmetic shape, but the CD drive has trouble opening sometimes, they didn't give me a price, but said it would be "a little bit less than perfect price".
Any clue as to what they will give? Would it be worthwhile to include the 120GB HD we bought for it? Its the old white style'd one.
Thanks, and before you tell me to check the site, I have found no such list, and the only lists I've found don't tell "refurb" charges or prices for non-perfect consoles.
I am talking about taking the store credit BTW.
