Should have gotten it earlier when they had Q.U.B.E, and Choplifter HD. Pretty good deal

You'll get a free game each month, the previous ones aren't available after the a new month starts. Last month was special, they had 3 games. Glad I joined :)

Already got it free from Green Man Gaming, anyway, I'd never accept anything from IGN, even if it was made of cheddar.

uh-oh.. now I'm getting scared I subscribed to IGN. why are they awful?

They are bias, articles often contradict each other, some reports of them being paid to do good reviews for publishers (And accepting it)

So basically shit I don't care about that isn't relevant to IGN Prime or this thread.

Alright, thanks.

But why would you support such things by paying them money?

I subscribe to IGN Prime because at the moment, the free games and trials they offer are well worth my cash.

I don't see it as an investment in quality journalism, or any other form of validatory feedback on their [mostly free] reviews and other content.

Sure, if IGN started uploading Youtube videos of their staff microwaving live Koalas, and waterboarding kittens, I may reconsider my subscription from an ethical point of view, but I just don't see a problem here.

IGN are just one of a wide variety sources I'll base purchasing decisions on, and a very minor one at that. If anyone blindly buys everything that gets a favourable review from IGN, it's their lookout. A fool and his Forints are easily parted.

I never said it was shit you'd care about, if you want to waste money supporting these assholes, be my guest.

I'd much rather buy the game and support he developers themselves, instead of paying IGN all the money.

Can't spell ignorant without an I, G and N.

this will lead to another flood of ign prime keys that are exploited because of ppl using fake credit cards ;(
oh dear...

They removed the trial so no more exploits, probably.

The last IGN key flood was quite a while after the trial was removed. Also, that one wasn't due to an exploit as such, but was credit card fraud.

Yep. They need to wait for the payment before they give people any access -- that's what pretty much every actual retailer does with their instant-delivery products.

thats it.this way they wouldnt have the problems concerning credit card fraud.

IGN Prime is fail ... I wrote a few times to the support that i can'T buy the subsciption, but the only thing they wrote back is that they work on it at the moment and i wanted Qube. -.-
Nevermind i will buy the game when it will be on sale, but IGN will never get money from me. :/

What exactly did you want them to say? "OK, for you we'll flip the switch so it works!"?
If they're working on it, there really isn't much more they can tell you...

I'm happy, I used all my will-power to resist the last SPAZ sale on Steam, and now I got it for free! Well, not really free, but whatever... Still happy :D
