It is ok, but you have to consider that your email, could land in the spam folder of the winner..

If I were you I'd add the winner and give them the code via message.
It may not be faster, but it's more secure.

I suggest trading the key over steam chat. Then you can actually talk to the person, screenshot it, and make sure it gets marked :)
