There's some third-party tools that can notify you every time the site make some change, but i don't think someone will look after this for a simple thing like this. A built-in option for it can be very useful creating more interaction for users interests and can bring some money with the ads.

Sure thing! The actual success of the Social Networks (again) is because people never forget them, so they have a lot of incoming from the ads and in retribution, people gets satisfied with the contents inside. Indeed, i think the devs from SG deserve more than the 102 patreons, so that's why i suggested the integration earlier and now this one.

I want this! Not just for threads, I was always thinking of WON A NEW GAME kinda notifications :)
Also - sounds for them would be nice! Everything should be optional though, so that people can customize it in a way they want.
