How do you feel about Pokemon Go ?

But what Pokemon Go has to actually offer other than capturing pokemons outside? I haven't seem anyone talking about battles, stats and moves till now. Whats on the cash shop?

You need to reach lvl 5 to unlock arena and the possibility to battle against over, it's not really difficult but with the servers down sometimes, the worlwide release not official yet and the time spend to reach it, that can explain it a bit maybe ?

Interesting. Well, its not available in my region yet, but I don't hold high hopes to it, considering how the battles and the micro-transactions works.

My brother is addicted to pokemon too but "Pokemon GO" isnt available in our country yet, but it seems pretty funny... Meanwile he just keep playing "Pokemon Revolution online" and he finds it amazing with lots of players to battle online

The issue is mainly my version of Android is to old (4.2.2). I also tried manually installing the apk, several times from several sources, but kept geting a parsing error. :(

I think the only issue is your Android then :/
If you really want to play Pokemon GO, you can root your phone and get Cyanogenmod (it's great, I'm using it myself)
Otherwise my Android would be too old too, but Cyanogenmod allows you to install newer android versions :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer not to mess with my phone to much: I've got a special talent for screwing up, my tablet, for example, can't even connect to the freaking play store anymore due to a system reset :/

So I finally managed to log in to it. Played for a couple hours and the game is okay. At it's current state it can entertain you for a while, especially if you tend to be a collector of sorts but unless they add trading and direct interaction with other trainers in the forms of battles(not Gym ones but have their avatars show up on your screen and challenge them) it doesn't have much longevity. Also I like how the microtransactions are priced, I find them very reasonable and they're completely optional

The trading possibility was present in the original trailer of the game, in september 2015, so they will probably add it at some point ^^

Had to look this guy up. While he criticise it he also likes it more than he wants to going by his twitter, I'd say Pokemon go is a gamble and you shouldn't make up your opinion based on reviewers. Try it first.

Well, true that. Except that I don't think I'll be able to try it here tho, don't think it "works" in Argentina plus the fact that you'd be basically risking a bullet and/or a stab to get mugged, if you just go careless walking watching your cellphone like that :P XD

Would love to play it, but I own a Windows Phone. I hope the currently running petition will show the developers, that there are many WP Users that would like to play their game.
I also tried to play it on my Android Tablet, but without mobile Internet and a camera, it's pretty useless :(
