No idea. All I know is that my pc sucks for gaming :P

disagree, it's not sucks if you're able to run portal 2

Sucks is relative, but running Source on minimum settings is only impressive if it's on a netbook or something.

my pc can run source, but not the portal 2, only portal 1 and with some lags

Thats enough to run all of the latest games for sure, but definitely not maxed out. If you can i'd get a 2500k cpu instead.

Then you'll need a better GPU I guess, though since we don't have rel infos on the game, not for sure. Maybe they have an extreme optimisation...nah, don't count on it.

Then wait for the specs to be released, then you will know if you are able to run it.

No get AMD hexa-core CPU and mimimum GTX 570 and 8 Gb DDR 3

Permalink

you don't really need 8 gigs of ram. It would be better to get better quality ram instead.
And this guy doesn't have enough money for a 570

i heard that that 2 ram cards works much better than single, so i got 2 cards of 4gb
and better ram cost a lot =/. probably will replace em in future

Uh, no. More cores != better performance in gaming.

Get an Intel i5 2500k, and a 7850 to go along with it.

Use this guide to find a decent computer for your price, not too sure if I can just use bbcode to make it clickable so here you go.

You should be able to run anything out there on that rig. Maybe not on ultra high settings, but at least fairly high. It seems to me that people are building systems that they wont ever have a use for in the computers lifespan. Sure its nice to say you have the most bada** rig around, but what can you really do with it that I cant?

Thats a pretty good one and you will run all the new games i think, but its not the best one ive seen in my life, but its rly good

Looks fine to me. Couple brands I've never seen but it looks like they're russian. PSU has two +12v rails @ 25A, that should handle a 560 fine. You could go for DDR3 1600 ram instead of 1333 as that is usually the sweetspot for SB/IB CPUs. As for the cooler, look into the hyper 212 evo, it's ridiculously cheap and a great performer. And lasty, you ask will you be able to run the latest games. The answer is yes, however, how well it runs largely depends on what resolution you'll be playing at. So what's your monitors native res?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

oh, my monitor are really old one, Samsung SyncMaster 795mb :D
later i planing to change ram when i'll get some moar cash
and yes i'm russian)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I see, max res on that is 1600x1200. A 560 should run games fine at that res.

and recommended is 1280 x 1024)
but later, i will replace it with a newer

Permalink

Well if you play at 1280x1024 games will run even better for you then

i'll check both. but anyway, soon i'll get new monitor too, cause this is not really good for eyes

You should be fine if you plan on playing with FullHD and 4xAA and all other settings maxed. In some cases you might rise the AA if needed but that should be enough.

You definitely dont need 2500K as the others are saying.

2500K cpu will be a lot better and id get faster ram, corsair do cheap vengeance ram with 1866mhz. Also what case, i run haf x with stock fans and the cooling is perfect.

The CPU is the bottleneck in your setup. Should have bought a Core I5 2500. (You really only need the K version of that CPU if you´re planning to overclock it) Btw, the PSU is waaay oversized if you´re not using multiple GPUs.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

There's absolutely no way a i5 2310 will bottleneck a single 560. He's GPU limited in this case, although the i5 2310 is locked it'd be fine in most if not all single GPU configs.

Lol, first time i was offered Core i3-2105 and i put all my extra money to get a better one. so it's almost maximum that i can afford.

Permalink

The i5 2310 is more than enough to complement the other parts of your rig. Don't worry about the CPU.

my opinion is that the processor could be better (id get a 3570K or a 3550K) , you dont need a special cooler for that one but if you get one of the ones I said yeah. get 8 GB RAM 1600 (2x4GB),kingmax is a bad brand, id get gskill, kingston or corsair, it's worthed. Get an Asus P8H77-V board and the power supply might be too small, I'd get 600W at least, brands NOX, Thermaltake, corsair or tacens.

better to stretch your wallet atleast on the PSU, or you could end up with a smoking pc

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You'd be able to run most on high or max with AA, but your processor will be a bit of a bottleneck with more processor intensive games.

As most people have been saying, a 2500(K) would've been better overall.

Would not bang either, will go obsolete in 20 years or so

The MHz of Ram makes little little difference if any at all, Your cpu is just fine, I still run a Q6600 and run most games on high/max. Everything else looks great, you should be able to max anything besides maybe 1 or 2 games you might need to run on high/very high, people over exaggerate whats needed to run games, truth is not many games are pushing boundaries lately anyways...

On second thought at 1600x1200 you should for sure be able to max out anything.

no one can give you a perfect answer, all computers are different and parts don't always work as well as they claim, then there's the issue of what you install on it and what drivers you run... and so on...

your processor isn't the fastest (for playing games) and there are faster ram speeds available (although i'm not sure whether there is any noticable difference between 1333 and 1600 mhz)

One thing i would note is make sure the power supply is strong enough, is 550w enough to run everything?

Going by the list you provided im pretty confident you will be able to run pretty new games like BF3 on high at 30-40 fps maybe not ultra and anything newer or more demanding you may have to consider an upgrade again. Just make sure the PSU has adequate power to run everything

Permalink

Should be able to run most new games on medium quality with that build.
