Should I buy it now or wait for a discount?

Oh damn, thanks for the heads up. But I think that won't happen if you don't activate it on Origin before refunding right?
was never a fan of any platforms other than Steam, why'd they bother making platforms when they can't do it better than Steam or at least do it right 😒

I guess but no clue, haven't used any other client pretty much else then steam either, gog crashes, and origin and ubisoft connect, epic, they dont have the abilitiy to show games as text but all stupid pictures, when you got many games it's tedious.
Epic and gog galaxy didn't really change much over 2 years, had better hopes.

That bundle was there as a pre-order bonus to give owners of the original version a loyalty discount.

honestly if you haven''t bought it yet you don't want it that badly - i didn't because i don't really have any interest in Mass Effect at all
also if it was on such a great discount why didn't you buy it then?

Well it wasn't a priority back then because I have a lot of games to play for now, but it's a great game, a must-play for me and I'm looking forward to it. I may not play it right now but I'm sure I don't want to miss the chance to have it in my library for the future to play it. Also as you wait, you get bigger and bigger discounts on some games. (Not always for sure)

Whilst the first two games may be removed it's unlikely the third will as the new version doesn't include the multiplayer which they still sell content for. This is further supported by the fact they've updated the title with 2(2012)2 to further distinguish it.

If you want it for collection, my post is of no interest for you and you can stop reading.
If you want to play ME3, I would encourage you to play it as part of the remastered edition. ME1 is one of my favorite games of all times (and I'm gaming since the 80's). On the opposite, ME3 came after EA bought and butchered the dream factory that Bioware was before: ME3 is not worth it, really. There's no point in my humble opinion to spend money to get the original version.
Anyway, the choice is yours. Enough typing, I'm going back to my replay of ME1 (I took the remastered trilogy yesterday) :-)

Wow, it's a great pleasure to talk to someone with more than 30 years of gaming experience 🌸
Your opinion matters to me and respectable as an adult experienced gamer and I'm glad you've shared it with me. I also have an itch to buy and play both games in chronological order when it comes to remastered games and their original version 😅
I believe that after you have played the original, then you can fully enjoy and appreciate the remastered and not just that but I also do it cuz it's my obsession :D
I wish you enjoy the remastered trilogy ^_^ 🌹

I get your point :) I would agree with you regarding a remake, it's a bit different to me for a remaster. In most cases, the latter does not imply any change in the gameplay, it's only better graphics and things like that. But, hey, colors and tastes :)
Yes, I'm enjoying the remastered trilogy, I'm still on ME1, because much work and not enough time for gaming (also I can't stop myself to switch from one game to another). But it's really a great pleasure to play this gem again. It's not perfect, it has some flaws, but it's the epic space story that I loved years ago :) Finally, did you start to play ME ?
Do not automatically trust older people because of their age, some are weirdos. Maybe because they touched this as kids :)

The ending of ME 3 was bad on it's initial release. Yes, that's true. And there were the DLC issues with important story content behind a paywall.
However, the whole trilogy is definitiely worth playing.
Without giving anything away:
The journey is amazing , the end destination can be disappointing. But that's Life!
I personally played through all of them (ME1, 2 & 3 on Xbox 360) and would just start with the Remastered Edition nowadays.
ME 3 multiplayer (xbox 360 and PC) was fun but I don't play it any more.

Bad Rats on my profile is just a joke. It was very famous a few years ago... for being a bad game.
Basically, it's a small game based on physics, but the physics motor is weirdly made and, as a result, the same action will not produce the same result when made again. I won't encourage you to play it :)

Mass Effect Legendary Edition is gonna be released in 3 hours and I don't wanna miss the chance to have the original one in my library, but the problem is, it was on a 67% discount back in December and I don't want to pay full price for it if I can buy it on a great discount. On the other hand I have no other choice but to buy it if it's gonna be removed after the release of the remastered trilogy. It's happened before with EA games like NFS Hot Pursuit. Would appreciate knowing your thoughts on this.
Also: I have the option to buy it now and wait for 14 days to see if it gets removed or not, so if it doesn't, I can refund the game and buy it later at a discounted price.
