i dont really think steam gives a /"(#/"# about some people getting a 7 years old game for free instead of paying 2 bucks for it. At least not enough to ban people over it, or even fix that bug thats allowing people to get the key that way.
on the other hand, i really despise people who are so damn freaking greedy to get not only one but multiple copies of said game, thats really low, imo. If you really want to keep the game im not here to stop you, and imo, if steam or games publishers dont care enough to make sure stuff like this doesnt happen, i dont care either... but there really is no need to get 2, 10 or 10's of copies some people are most likely doing.

There are quite a number of users here who used the opportunity to give away such revocable keys. One gave 22 keys, just imagine how many alternate accounts he owns. So shouldnt the giveaways be revoked also as the keys may be revoked in future.

wonder who messed this up - valve managing time limited keys or the guys managing warhammer and its steam store keys
one thing's clear though, nobody cared to check up more carefully on a soon to be 10 year old game - minor to no fucks given all around
c.g. to all who got it for free - i'd bet a tf2 key you get to keep it forever; the game was btw. some time ago bundled on HB,

It was bugged for long time, you could generate extra key if you already owned it and pass it on (who then could continue never-ending cycle).
Medieval 2 Total War, Dead Rising 2 OTR had similar bug. So I assume someone from Valve messed it up.
Dark Souls, Street Fighter, Dead Rising 2, Resident Evil 5 were limited to one copy iirc.

As you probably know, Dawn of War games are on weekend sale and the first ones are on free weekend. For what I'm reading you can copy and paste the key of Dawn of War GOTY edition and steam is thinking that you are activating the game. I'm reading that the "2 days remaining" is disapearing.
I already own the game, so I dont know if there is free or a bug. With the expansions, for example, it doesnt happens.
