That a nice list of games. Thanks.
It seems there are a few free games I've enjoyed that you haven't shared yet.
Himno is one of my favorites: a relaxing rouge 2D platformer that's only about exploring pixelated ruins. It's popular enough the dev is build upon it to make a separate full game with the same assets and aesthetics: Himno-The Silent Melody.

MANDAGON is a calm 2D platformer that offers for what it aim: "a world inspired by Tibetan theology and philosophy."

Echoes+ starts off as a twin stick Asteroid variant, but it become much more hectic as more is thrown in with each level.

"ndless Sky is a 2D space trading and combat game inspired by the classic Escape Velocity series."

Just came to tell OP this is one of my favorite curator pages. I usually volunteer to write the F2P reviews on the SteamGifts Magazine, and whenever I'm lost about which game to write, a quick visit to this curator solves the problem for me.
Thank you, you're appreciated, and keep an eye out for some of those reviews (like Doronko Wanko).
PS - Just noticed CIRCLES isn't on the list, but I think it would be a good addition. I spent almost 4 quality hours with it.

thank you, and added!
If you want to give me a link to your reviews, I can add you to a recommended list like this one: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36459539-Overwhelmingly-Free/list/53896
I can also add you as a curator if you want, it's optional of course.

Oh, the reviews I mentioned are usually posted on the Steamgifts Magazine, not on Steam itself, and they tend to be different from the ones I provided myself on the platform. Example here:
As you can see they are two different beast, but if I find other good free games I'll keep sending them your way. Chances are, they are probably coming from you in the first place tho :)

Hi everyone, been a very long time since I posted a new thread here!
Overview
So, I've been frustrated with Steam's stance against completely free games. These developers have to pay 100 USD to be on the store, and then Valve buries them because they don't generate any kind of revenue (you can see on the right of the store page that says "steam is learning about this game". What's worse is that they all get paired along freemium/free-to-play games that generate thousands of revenue, so these games have zero visibility, they don't stand a chance on their own.
To give them a hand, I created an informative list of games that aren't demos, that aren't prologues, and that don't have any DLC that add meaningful content - for example, if a "Donation DLC" adds just a hat, I add the game to the list anyways. But it depends, and that's why curation is important.
The Curator Page
Without further ado, here's the link:
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36459539-Overwhelmingly-Free/
There's a curator group that I was forced to make, but it's empty and it's just a requirement for the group.
What's next for this list
It's very close to reach 100 games, which is an amazing number. I'm pretty sure there are already 100 fully free games but I've yet to bump into them. If you feel somewhat interested in this, you can help me achieve that. Also, I'm using the "featured" functionality of Curated pages to add a personalized list so people can add the games they really like. Or perhaps we can categorize the games depending on the genre? Who knows.
As a second concern, with time there has been a growing number of student games, that is, games made in colleges for practice. Since their quality varies a lot, at some point it might be worth discussing what to do with those, but for now, they're all in!
Thanks for reading, I'll be posting again when there's something meaningful to share.
