Yeah, when I saw it, a few years ago I was like "WTF" during the whole movie. I can take a lot of brutality in movies but in this one it's very psychological and this is strong.

Starship Troopers, picked up the trilogy boxset. 9/10 would watch many times over, and over, and over.

Official means it's the one and only thread around here in which we discuss watched movies. It can be even lowest of the low straight to dvd flick - it still counts as a movie.

In a similar veil to Twain's Huckleberry Finn, two boys Ellis (Tye Sheridan) and Neckbone (Jacob Lofland) discover a criminal named Mud (Matthew McConaughey) living on an island in the Mississippi River. Mud is currently on the run from a gang of mercenaries from Texas and hiding from the local police, as well as trying to reunite with his girlfriend Juniper (Reese Witherspoon). Mud is a drama which explores the relationship between all the characters in the film, and touches on issues of love, trust, and friendship and the fragility of each. The acting from McConaughey and Sheriden is stellar, and the story and dialogue is very good. I highly recommend seeing this film if you have the chance.
Final Score: 8.5/10

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
