In a similar veil to Twain's Huckleberry Finn, two boys Ellis (Tye Sheridan) and Neckbone (Jacob Lofland) discover a criminal named Mud (Matthew McConaughey) living on an island in the Mississippi River. Mud is currently on the run from a gang of mercenaries from Texas and hiding from the local police, as well as trying to reunite with his girlfriend Juniper (Reese Witherspoon). Mud is a drama which explores the relationship between all the characters in the film, and touches on issues of love, trust, and friendship and the fragility of each. The acting from McConaughey and Sheriden is stellar, and the story and dialogue is very good. I highly recommend seeing this film if you have the chance.
Final Score: 8.5/10

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
