Technically speaking, it would not be possible to have a Ramadan Sale since dates of Ramadan (on the Gregorian calendar) changes every year and it's bound to coincide with other Steam events.

I hope that they like my idea. What would you guys think of a Steam Ramadan Sale.
Here's my post on the Steam forums: http://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/648814841684697020/
"I'm perfectly fine with the Steam Holiday sale and I am glad that Valve respects their community. However, being a Muslim, I was hoping Valve might host a "Steam Ramadan Sale" during Ramadan each year?
Instead of crafting snow globes, users would be able to craft Stars and Crescents. The Stars and Crescents could then be turned into items, such as Team Fortress 2 turbans and Dota 2 burkhas.
I believe that such an event would help showcase that Steam is a diverse international community of friends. You might even consider hosting sales for other major religions, such as a Steam Diwali Sale. Of course, Valve and game developers/publishers would make a lot of money off of the sale as well.
What does everyone think of my idea?"
