I'm not a big fan of flash games on desktop pc's. If i had a smartphone i would play it... but on steam...? My backlog is full of great games that are waiting for me and yet they are much more complex than most of indie 2D games.
A matter of priorities.
Don't judge me by games i have recently played, I've got a new, great but really demanding job and i have no time or energy to play anything ambitious :(

playing smb on a tablet or a phone would be a nightmare. Its all about game tightness, very few games come close to being so well balanced, great controls, great level design, its a shame that so many people are so quick to box 2D games as childish or simple, that apparently you need to spend money on bad actors or a ridiculous "cinematic" story line to make a great game.
