Why Isn't SteamGifts Recognizing Me As A Contributor?

I think it takes time to update, at least that's what I've heard.

Crap, there's only two hours left to the giveaway I want...

I wish people can be bothered to use the search button and i don't see the problem with you not entering contributor giveaways, it's not like you paid for that giveaway.

That's why.

I think it counts your contributor valu at the beginning of the giveaway. At least it's how it worked in the beginning while the feature was in testing. If your value gets higher in the middle of a giveaway, you can't enter that one but you will be allowed to enter any new ones that are created after you get your contributor's value.

It will be great if giveaways from bundle list will count as zero contribution.

it may takes few hours for update. I got same experience few weeks ago.
