The funniest reason you was kicked/banned from an group/game/forum.

Once o got in one of these lets play together groups, tought we all talking english as basis. Turns out, i was the only one who talks english and others were chinese or something like that, so when i said hello they looked at me;
They laughed,
I laughed,
They kicked me out.
That was a nice day.

I got kicked from a server for tossing a grenade into an invisible clipping box and destroying my own base on accident. Oops.

I used to play on a private server for WoW. Usually I only played for the PvP, but most other players on the server were really bad/inexperienced so I rarely ever lost to anyone in duels.
Eventually people got suspicious of me and just assumed I was cheating despite the fact I have literally thousands of games played on live and consider myself pretty decent at the game.
I received so many reports that the admins just didn't even bother verifying anything and banned me.
It was incredibly frustrating but also amusing, being called a cheater when not cheating is probably one of the best compliments I've ever received.

i was kicked from the group for telling a raid leader where he could stick it, the funny part i was a mod there.

TempBan for pointing out to a russian player with bad english skills that there is a russian version too.

I was perma-banned from a minecraft server once for taking down a building I made myself in the first place
reason: griefing

Not Steam related, but WoW related. Was right after I quit hardcore raiding, and decided I wanted to join a more casual raiding guild. I found one recruiting off forums, messaged their guild leader, and got invited for a trial run that night.

So raid time comes around, and I join their vent, and everythings fine until the one officer joins. Before anyone says anything, she instantly starts in going "Ugh new guy. I hate carrying people". So I speak up and say "Luckily for you, Im heroic geared, so I think youll be fine". After that she just says "Whatever" and starts just making some passive aggressive remarks about how she hates "elitists" and how she just doesnt get along with other girls. So at this point, I already know this isnt going to work out, but I decide to stick around because I already committed to the run/wasnt looking for drama, and I didnt want to just drop and leave the other people hanging.

First boss rolls around, and as expected considering I way over geared it, I topped the meter for damage. Officer chick immediately starts going off about how "obviously Id top the meter because they dont trust newbs to do mechanics". It was Firelands, the dog boss(if anyone remembers it/knows it), on normal mode, and the main mechanic was dont stand in bad, and kill stuff. So we get to the second boss, (the firebird, Forgot the name), and again I top the meter, even while staying on bottom/not getting damage buffs. This time she doesnt say anything, loot goes out, then I get a message from the guild master asking me if I could "stop doing so much damage. My girlfriend is getting really upset that shes getting out-done by another girl and shes really sensitive about that". Before I could ever reply back to him, the officer chick kicks me from the raid, messages me saying "GTFO this is my raid".

And that is the funniest/most pathetic reason Ive EVER been kicked from anything lol... After that, I ended up getting picked up by a guild where I ended up becoming the co-guild leader and raiding with them for about 4 years. So, I guess it was worth it in the end

i get honored in Battlefield sometiomes by getting kicked from serveradmins because of reasons like
"you killed me - i dont like you" or "stolen enemys tank, its against the rules" (lol!) and the best "cheater". Love it when this happens. Means im not that bad at all xD

I played an MMO that had particularlly well-featured character customization. I needed to create an alt for extra storage and came up with "Jailbait": a young female character with blonde pigtails, 4'6" tall, flatchested with few curves, and wearing pink lingerie with stockings and high heels. Apparently some people didn't think it was as funny as I did. BANNED

I might have gotten some bans for exposing shitty games, this back when steam had some quality control.
Some of those games where removed...so what do i care.

I was banned from a Fb page when the owner called fans stupid just because they told him his latest meme wasn't funny at all. So I told him that he is doing a very good job insulting his fans, and he told me that he can call insult anyone he wants. So I was like: "No you can't. Also, do you need me to buy you some beer because you are clearly 12 years old." And I went to click that Unlike button which just disappeared :D

I am blacklisted by a user who was kicked from a group because of "unfriending the leader" ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I was banned from a CS 1.6 server because i was better than a MOD who used wallhack, i was unbanned by the owner later.
I joined a minecraft server and some guy start to throw me good items. Turns out he was using xray and we got banned.

a well known Brazilian steam group which i'm sure most u know or alrdy a member of it kicked me because i send the guy 2 copies of a game we agreed an a trade by mistake and i didn't even know for almost 2 weeks and when i found out and confronted him he first denied all while he traded the 2nd copy for some keys with the same guy who made me understand that my 2nd copy was gone , but when i show him proof, he gave the keys which he transferred temporarily to his alt and finally send me the keys instead of that game, and he kicked and blocked me instantly after that:)

Banned for stating I'm Canadian.

I got kicked from a server for saying the word "monkey".
Context : "Oh god you sneaky little monkey"
(TF2, was having trouble with a scout who was sneaking around and ambushing our squishies from behind with melee)

I got banned from a different server for saying "damn", because they said it was a 'family friendly' server. Again, TF2, a game where you can throw jars of piss and even voice-emote "Agh, piss".

I was once automatically kicked from my own Minecraft server because I used command blocks to suspend myself in midair while in survival. It said I was kicked for "flying."

I told a moderator that Steam don't care about broken achievement and he kicked me :))

I said in GOTY thread at some popular gaming forum that Uncharted 4 is not deserved to be 2016 GOTY because it's just good game and not even best game in franchise. Then i was immediately attacked by agressive sony fanboys (because "naughty gods" obviously can't create just good game, silly me) and one of those guys told me to "GTFO with your shit". I told him to "fuck off with his shit" because it was just my opinion, i never said that U4 is bad game so i didn't understand why the hell he was so mad at me, and few hours later i was banned because of "meltdown in GOTY thread". Well, at least this guy was banned too lol

I was banned from a community in Eve Online, because I was in the channel of another community (but not a member of it).. When I found out a few months later I had to point out they were there too so they should have banned themselves too. Needless to say the ban was not reversed after that :D

I got banned from a community in Eve I helped run because I wouldn't "drop it" that another member of the community had threatened someone else IRL.

OH and I need to add this one, but it wasn't me getting banned, but the threat. In the community I helped run I had been away for a month, came back, some loudmouth was in the channel I'd never seen before attacking people. I told him to knock it off, to which he responded that he knew the owner and I was as good as banned. So I changed the MOTD to 'U WOT M8?', logged and never came back. One of the owners told me later that he was a spaz and thanks for scaring him off so he didn't have to boot him himself :D
