Just a little update from the developer :)
Currently we are "#9 OF 1,568 GAMES IN GREENLIGHT" and most likely we will be greenlit in the next batch. I expect it will be at the beginning of March, so hurry up if you want to grab it for free.

If you mean Paranormal State, our team has already implemented most of Steam features and are finishing the trading cards. Once it is done we will release the game on Steam and let you get your Steam codes. Thank you for patience!

It will be a Steam key. We are working on a special website where you will be able to get your key (based on your Steam login and the list of members of the group).

I'm sure it will be a key, I've never seen devs give keys for games that just made it onto Steam.

Congratulations =)
when you're giving out the game, please do it as Rockstar did with Midnight Club (everyone in the group had the game automagically appear in their library)
Don't do it the way Artifex Mundi did it with Undead Pirates Crew (login page that requested your Steam login + mail).
A login page like Humble Bundle does would be fine, too :P
Just my 2 cents ;)

Huh, we will look into this. I'm not sure how they pulled it off. We thought about making a seperate website where you have to use your Steam login to get your code (just like on this site to comment). There will be probably also some random rewards (Steam wallet money). Anyway, we will take a look at what Rockstar did before we make the final decision.

I hope these guys aren't going to pull the same crap that so many devs on Greenlight have been pulling lately of getting people to up vote their games by promising free keys and then once the game makes it on Steam, just stiffing everyone...

Decide for yourself :)

You're talking about studio that created the recent hit, Rambo: The video game. They've been pulling this shit with 'upvote and get for free' for a while now.
Actually, I've been wondering if getting any of that stuff through Greenlight on Steam was supposed to make it easier for them to get their Scambo: The video game also on the platform, since we all know that people who already published something don't have that much of a problem to get any kind of crap released here too. Sadly.

Yeah, we know Rambo hasn't been received well. However Robot Rescue has been developed by a different team. And speaking of Rambo - it is an on-rail shooter and some people just hate this genre. We never intended to mislead people about what kind of game it is and the pricing is not our choice too. While we admit the game has its flaws it seems a lot of hate is a result of choices that were not ours.

Oh please, for people who are not blinded by thirst to get something for free (whatever it would be), your method of getting on Steam is considered shady, to say the least.
Scambo for the moment being is removed from GamersGate and store page seems not to be accessable, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the store page didn't provide a video with actual gameplay or in-game screenshots, just video filled with cut-scenes and artworks that were looking nothing near to the actual game. And it was up to pre-order in that state for at least month. That's of course not on you either.

Funny enough I already had voted yes, so win win.

I really hope it get's Greenlit next batch. It should have been Greenlit already. I guess 7000 upvotes weren't enough. But Next Time It Will Be There.
What is nice about these give aways, you can guesstimate how many upvotes are needed to get a game Greenlit, by the amount of people joining the group. Last time it seemed to be around 6900 upvotes.

We did it. Now we only need our keys and we're off :) .
