M&B Warband OR War Of The Roses

Warband easily. It may be a bit uglier but it has much better combat. Also, just tried playing War of the Roses again yesterday and there was like... 8 servers, only 2 of which had more than just 1 or 2 guys, so I guess that game is kinda dead.

Really? I can't find the site right now, but there are an average of ~600 players the last 30 days for War of the Roses. I've always been able to find several good servers to join. It might be more of a US game though - maybe there's really only 8 servers in Europe.

M&B is in my top 5 of all time. Both are great games, but M&B has a depth most games only dream of achieving.

Yeah man, I find myself playing the original M&B for SP more than Warband for SP. I could not agree with you more.

Although I do enjoy both SP, it's just the first one has something special about it the second one doesn't quite capture. Maybe it is a purely nostalgic thing.

Tip: wait until its on sale and buy the whole collection its cheaper that way!

I don't think it's worth it get the whole collection. Warband is by far the best out of the three Fire and Sword is okay but you're better off just playing Warband. If you get it on 75% sale the pack is about 3-5$ more than Warband+Napoleonic Wars. But Warband is easily worth the full 20$ price. Definitely a top 5 game especially with all the mods out there.

Well onsteam with 75% off is warband €4- and Napoleonic wars also €4-. So why bother spebding 80 cebts more for the complete collection? Youbget 2 more M&B games and WF&S is also a pretty decent game.

I think the pricing in Europe must be different cause I remember thinking that when you buy the pack you basically get the first Mount and blade free. I think it was something like 5$ for Warband, 2.50$ for Napoleon and 12.50$ for the pack.
