Sorry, but I first read "rape" masters and well ...

I used to be big into Tech N9ne and Tyler the Creator, but have recently started listening to a little more mainstream stuff (which is hard because to get more mainstream than those too you have to listen to terrible shit like Lil Wayne and Tyga, but I listen to it and enjoy the badness of it. It's fun.)

But I wouldn't reccommend that. Army of the Pharaohs, Atmosphere, MF Doom, Pharaoh Monche, Saul Williams, Gravediggaz, Wu Tang Clan, etc etc
