Perfect Game

Perfection is death.

I think that The Walking Dead is the closest game to perfection that we will ever see. At least for the next few years.

FTL: Faster Than Light. Okay, maybe not perfect, but everyone here is mentioning big titles and I think a little game that enjoyable deserves at least a mention.

Braid

Half Life 3 A game which will never come out :((

Batman: Arkham City, BioShock, Mass Effect 2, Dishonored

Half Life and Mafia - all series

There have not and will not be such thing as perfect game... IA that creates game that you and only you will find perfect is more probable... there are far to many tastes to please everyone in every aspect...
You may like graphics, but dislike music. Like plot, but dislike voiceover (or lack of it).

But IA that could take your perfect game/world right out of your brain could deliver that... and I`m afraid that is the only way to have perfect game.

Though it would rather be the perfect IA, and game would be just a by product.

At least that is what I think and as with many opinions, people may disagree :)

There isn't any perfect game that came out since it all started, and it will never happen, every games, even if very good, have their little problems, or even big arse annoying problems that screws things up. It's been like that forever :P

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Not sure about the perfect game, but I'm quite sure which are my 5 favorite games and I'm sure they all come close to perfection: Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex (the first one), Bastion, Shadow of the Colossus and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl.

Nothing is perfect. But some games are nearly perfect, like most Valve games, and Bastion.

There is no such thing as a perfect game.

System shock 2, Deus Ex, Gabriel Knight: Sins of the fathers, Broken Sword, Fallout and others i guess :)

Recettear, chrono trigger, chrono cross (10/10 gamespot rating), sonic 2, SSF1VAE

A more appropriate question will be which game is perfect in which genre

Fallout 3 vanilla, Diablo, Diablo 2, and many other unnamed games that I forgot from my childhood (ice wind dale II comes to mind)
