In case you are wondering why I haven't given you the link yet, my issue is with Not For Broadcast. The reason being is that it is a story heavy game but is in EA. From my understanding, the story is not complete and is only 2 of 3 planned episodes. For this reason, I will not be accepting it at this time. Sorry.

| Evoland Legendary Edition | September 2020 #18 | Finished??/ Finished 1st game | This game is... a launcher for 2 other seperate and unrelated gamea: Evoland 1 and Evoland 2. I've beaten the first one (Hero achievement). But I wonder if it could be considered that I "finished" it. I'm totally okay if you have any issue with this entry, As for the game itself. It was a noltasgia ride for people who grew up with RPGs. Having said that, the game also remind me of the grind nightmare, rediculous hidden collectibles inside invisible walls, ect. |
| As Far As The Eye | August 2021 #21 | Finished | Probably the most pleasant surprise I got out of this entry. Its hex-like system reminds me of Civ's, but the way the game works distinguish itself from the franchise. The game's campaign consists of 5 Chapters, which work as a streched tutorial before letting the player experience the game on their own. To be honest I was never good at complex games, where you have to manage workflow/resources. But somehow this game worked for me. Got me return playing it times after times, mostly losing at first. But when I got the grip of it the first winning run felt so good. And I think the music also plays a good role in keeping me stay with the game. It's a bit sad that the devs have moved on from the game and not releasing any further update, since there are still some minor bugs here and there, plus I think the concept has potential for further development. |
| Titan Souls | Febuary 2016 #4 | Beaten | A pleasant surprise, I though with the short playtime on HLTB it'd be just some walking simulator, but nope it's a 2D-topdown boss rush frenzy with 19 bosses to slay. They die in one hit (at the right place) and so am I. I find it kinda funny, that most of the bosses music are very epic, but I'm only able to listen to max first 30 seconds, before me or the boss die (mostly me). Leave the good soundtrack aside, the game has a terrible PC port from what I assume made for a console and with a console in mind, so if you find the keyboard control awkward, good luck because there isn't any ingame key rebind. And to aim mostly with keyboard made some bosses much more harder than they should be. |

Hey there, unfortunately when it comes to collections that contain multiple games within a single steam id, I require all games to be completed for it to count. So for the case of Evoland Legendary Edition, you would need to beat both games for me to count it as an entry. You still have ~2 days to play another game, so you might be able to squeeze in if you are quick enough.

If the event is still up, you still have time. Fair warning, I am working for most of tomorrow and will only have a few hours to send invites before the gib ends. This is why I try to discourage people saving it to the end since I cannot guarantee that I will catch them considering time zones.

The challenge is simple: Play and beat any 6 games, starting today, that have been featured in any given Humble Monthly/Choice bundle in one month.
The prize: 2x Death's Door
Note: This means I'm giving away two copies of the game and will have 2 winners.
Game length does not matter and I'm not looking for 100% achievement runs. So long as you play and beat 6 games, I'm happy. You can go easy mode and play a bunch of 1h games or go crazy and play 6 +30h games. So long as they were in a monthly at a given point, it is all good.
Just post a comment with either screenshots/ achievements showing that you fulfilled the criteria and I'll add on Steam and give you the link. Feel free to share your thoughts on the games you've played, but it is not required.

Why you doing this?
I hate money. That and I realized I've been subbed to the monthly for over five years (yes it has been that long, I checked) and it occurred to me that I've barely touched the games I've gotten from it, let alone played them. Figured the same would be true for a few others, so I figured this is a good way to change that. A sensible person would probably unsub in this situation, but please refer to the beginning as to why that will not happen.
I've played the first X minutes of a game, can I pick it for the event?
No. You cannot have any play time or achievements prior to the start of the event. The only exception is idle time from farming Steam cards.
Can I play a MP only game?
No. It needs to have an "end" in order for me to count it as beaten, so it needs to have a campaign/story mode.
If a game was sold as a non-Steam copy in a bundle (origin/uplay/drm-free/etc), can I pick it as a choice if I own a Steam copy?
No. The reason being that those who own a Steam copy would have an extra option that would not be available to everyone who bought the same bundle. If the game was originally sold as a non-Steam copy, but Humble later provided steam keys to everyone who bought the bundle, then the game would be allowed.
Why six games?
The first few monthlies had 6/7 games in them so I went with that.
How long are you going to do this?
Until my credit card statements gives me nightmares.
