Seriously what the hell is up with this site?

Steamgifts has been horrible for weeks. The android app pretty much useless now as it constantly times out when trying to connect to the site. The site itself I'm finding runs better when I come in when most of the US is in bed.

The site has been 503ing a bunch since the winter sale started. Most steam related sites got hit hard. Hell, even Steam was down for a while. This one just didn't have the server capacity to handle this volume of traffic. They really should have paid their host for better service during the holidays.

I hope that Commission Junction (anrdoezrs.net) pays them well for views, click-throughs, and purchases, not just for purchases made from the affiliate links. This seems like a good business model, and I'm often interested in buying those things from those ads, but I get really frustrated when I can't load pages for 5 minutes at a time.

Yes i have found this site slow, more recently it's very slow. But i don't have any ads on any of these pages, i don't have adblock either, i think you have downloaded something into your PC that may be causing it to run slower ontop of SG's already slow slowness. I suggest you do a clean sweep of any adware/spyware in your PC. The only advert you should see is the "AdChoices" adverts from google based on your recent activity, searches & results and maybe the GMG ones or site associated sale ones.
