Hello and welcome! I actually read the whole thing, and that's pretty cool you're from Lithuania (I just love knowing where people are from and their heritage); I'm of Lithuanian descent (as well as Italian, Russian, English, Irish, Scottish, Swedish, and possibly German lol), but that was generations ago, and my parents were born here in America. Can't say I know much about your country besides my little bits of family history, but it's always awesome to meet people from around the world! :D

Wow, thats amazing, not everybody knows theyr family history that far. And yeah the blood line goes further and further, yet we seem the same human, its really interesting that you know your history so well. Would be great to chat with you and maybe just maybe hear some more of the history your family tree has :) Thanks for writting

Probably the whole slightly phallic mentioning of getting nozzled. I've yet to stick around and find out what that means, and have no plans to ever do so. :D

Ah, ok. Ya know, I never thought of doing a topic like this, cuz I assumed most people made them. My, how society has degraded. -.-

Humans aswell as societys learn from mistakes, so this might be a lesson and help maybe a few, maybe a lot people understand how it is important to stand tall on our feet and use every single moment we can in life, aswell as use the opportunity to meet new people like now :) I had a good day only because of this great community and all of you who were so friendly and kind to say "Hi" or "Welcome" to me. It means a lot and i hope we can know each other even more. And this topic showed me how good people are in this community, probably not all but when the world has so many corrupt places aswell as the internet, its one of the better spots to chat with people :)

It's just that I hate people. :(
Just kidding, the only reason I said that is because I'm a socially awkward and shy person, and you seem to be exactly the opposite. Nice to talk to you, and welcome to steamgifts. :)

Welcome (well, more like "glad to see you're still here") to the site.
Its nice to see someone who's looking for "friends" (if you could call it like that), and i think that in that matter, you'll find plenty of people that suit that word quite nicely.
I'm not exactly the most social person, but if you want, feel free to add me, i can't promise anything, but sometimes meeting a complete stranger is a nice way to start.

Oh another programmer around? good to see that.
I finished the carreer last year, now i'm doing the radio announcer career and English teaching profession, with some little work at home fixing computers and setting up networks.

I'm a wannabe programmer, if it counts. ._. Planning on taking classes pretty soon. Right now, all I can do is the classic Hello World. I decided to take a break from all my classes for a while and ended up taking more time off than I meant to... and now I'm wrapped up in a part time office job (as well as a second part time job). But programming and game design are still my main interests.

Sounds a lot like my situation except for the hello world part as I am self taught and have released a few programs (mainly for xbox 360 save editing). Luckily I talked to my boss (an office job as well) and she is very lenient on the hours I work to accommodate going to college for programming. :)
Feel free to add me if you want some help with programming or just to shoot the shit. These are the languages I have used in the past (in no specific order): C++, C#, Delphi, Python, Lua, Html, Php, Java, Javascript, Visual Basic, ess (I didn't know if I should include this or not as it is what Eventscripts for the Source engine used before they moved to python. ESS was and is only for eventscripts as the creator wrote it.)
I also planned on taking a little time off...4 years later and I am finally serious about going back.

Last part totally sounds like me. Planned to start classes shortly after finishing high school... changed my mind and said a year... 1 year turned into like 2 or 3. To my credit, I started working even more during that time, so I was busy, just not with what I wanted to be. Now I'm starting to push myself towards some beginner's classes online at least. Self taught didn't really work for me only because I had no idea where to begin. My mother is an ex-software engineer, and she had a bunch of older programming books she had set aside for me to start looking at. Then, of course, we had a house fire, and those books are god knows where after the cleanup crew moved everything. Seems like everything's fighting against me. lol
But, luckily, I've got pretty lenient hours as well, and there are some decently priced beginner's classes at nearby schools (although the classes are actually online lol). I'm hoping getting just a little shove is all I need to get going in the right direction.
Either way, it's always cool to find someone with similiar interests. Everyone around me (aside from my mother and gf) seems lucky they can turn a computer on. lol

That sucks about the fire :( I had a few old books from garage sales (from when I was around 14-15), but when I actually had time to look them over they were ancient...like original basic and C ancient.
I have some history of programming in my family as well (not my mom, but my grandpa worked at bell labs programming the first mobile phone which took the whole trunk of a car back then). I think what pushed me to be self taught was in my first programming class in high school my teacher was a dick and didn't think I would have any future in programming. So I spent hours upon hours learning by myself over the years, and am okay at it now, but could use some real classes on it.
I will probably have to start with beginner classes too (unless they let me test out) and they are mostly online here as well.
I agree with everyone around me barely knowing how to turn a computer on, had a friend ask the other day if I could teach him how to delete files to clear up space on his laptop. XD

Hello Lipfter, I am one of the few who actually read it all.
I sent you a friend request on steam as you seem like a nice guy and I'd love to talk. I also love movies, games, and programming :D
I am self taught in programming, but have a pretty good handle on it. I have used these languages before:
C++, C#, Delphi, Python, Lua, Html, Php, Java, Javascript, Visual Basic, ess (I didn't know if I should include this or not as it is what Eventscripts for the Source engine used before they moved to python. ESS was and is only for eventscripts as the creator wrote it.)

That we do :)
Feel free to message me whenever on steam (sometimes I have it on at work, so that's the only time I won't talk much, but will let you know that's why).
I know time zone differences will make it at weird times probably, but I don't have a normal sleep schedule anyways :P

Hello, im Lipfter. I have been a member of steamgifts for a while, but never thought of introducing myself to this wonderful community and the great and funny people of this community. Im from Lithuania and i want to meet new people around the community. I have been here enough time to understand what great people surrounds it Jade,Kaitlyn,Nozzle and others. You probably havent even heard of me or even seen me chat in the group chat but ive been spying and stalking you >,..,> (dont worry, youll get presents next christmas i promise! :D) . Im active and love to chat with friendly and positive people. Would love to know all of you better as hard as it may seem. I like sports, programming, books, movies and games and i hope that well find a way to talk. I like people who want to show who they are and what they want, who they are and the spirit and morale that hides inside of them. Im trying to be active in the group chat aswell, but sometimes im busy so cant join the laughter with you. When i see you write "friend" jokes i remember the jokes we made with friends and how other people didnt have a clue why we were laughing. I want to be one of the group members who are active and maybe find people who are "spirit-binded"(i dont know how to say it in english, im sorry. What i meant to say is people who just might be binded with each other and find the conversation between 2 people very exciting and fun, almost as if they knew each other for a while ). Sharing stories is always fun even if its online and sometimes this experience ends up the greatest experience in life which could rather even help you improve in real life and i want to have stories even when im home, aswell as i want to share my stories with you :)
If youll have free time or need any help in life, games, programming or any other situation im ready to hear it and try to help you as much as i can. Add me if you dont have anything better to do, ill chat with you as much as i can. Thank you for reading :)
