In my opinion, it's what the temporary ban, or suspension, is for — to let one admit their mistakes, sort the mess out and get slightly better.
I'm glad that a few mistakes I've made here so far didn't cause any unpleasant consequences, probably because I didn't have any ill intentions; speaking of these, in most cases such intentions would be revealed.

I remember receiving "Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut" by error from the GA creator. I informed him promptly, and he proceeded to give me proper game. I did not get the Deus Ex unfortunately!

Due to the nature of the "human animal" I am one of those who believes that any non activated wins should result in a permanent ban until the person buys and activates the game themselves and submits proof of doing so. That said there are a number of games/packs that don't show up in the tool SG uses for a variety of reasons, last time I checked mine I had four false positives (one of which shows up on my SC profile, Painkiller: Black, which is a bit odd) so knee-jerk reactions are also bad and users/support needs to make sure this is not the case before handing out bans.
I am of the opinion that those users that fail to read and/or comply with the rules are in most cases no better or worse than the other as the use of this website is completely voluntary unlike being a born citizen of a country and being required to comply with the law of the land. Being a user of steamgifts is voluntary and not a "right" in any shape, form or fashion. That said there are also extreme cases of abuse such as one I know of where one person was running dozens of bot accounts and a group of level 9ish users being caught for scamming their way up to the higher levels. Then there are hijacked accounts that have been used and as support can tell you the list goes on and on and on.... The support crew here is extremely small compared to the user base and they do the best they can with what they have to work with.
All that said, people do make mistakes. Best thing to do is learn from them, fix them where you can and do your best to not be a headache for support. Kudos on a great train too.

I've had my share of both. Don't worry about it too much. We're all being judged here. Do things to please yourself. It's just simply impossible to please everybody. ^-^

When you come to a new site (like this) you should read the rules first (at least a look). But we are humans at least, i am, i'm not sure about you and we make mistakes. I think this people that non activate his gif receibe his punishment (suspension). Once they paid for their mistake i don't have any problem with them. If they don't learn about that and continue non activating their gifs, will be permabanned. So there is no reason for me to blacklist them, but i repport they to support if i found it.

Yes, we are people and make mistakes. Everyone does and we do while we are alive. But that does not justify our actions.
Do not accept what I had said like accusation to you, that's just my opinion.

I'm in favor of something along banned from entering giveaway until the user buys or trades for, then activate the missing games, like what you have done.

So I wanted to do this for a long time now, I actually had 1 win which wasn't activated and no it was not because I traded the game away or something, it was my stupidity, I accidentally won a duplicate ga and the op asked if I wanted something else, so he gave me a bundle, at that time I didn't really know the rules so I took it and was quite happy, but later I became quite anxious about this seeing all the "Ban all non activators" stuff. So finally, I was planning to do this sooner but ye... I bought the game. Since our good members always share the new bundles and such, I noticed the amazing humblebundle. With my cousins help there are reasons why I can't buy them myself, one is I'm too young I bought a couple of bundles for you Sorry, no DMC, I really wanted that one So come in
I wanted to ask all of you not to think that all of the people who didn't activate their 1 or 2 wins are bad and should be permanently banned, there are a lot of people who simply didn't read rules or well I dunno but still, tho I'm not saying that a person who regifts all the time even after being told not to shouldn't be banned or suspended,. That's all I wanted to say and I hope you understand :)
