It's just like anything else, there are good ones and bad ones. Humble would certainly be #1, Bundle Stars is #2 for me. I like Groupees in general, but for those of us who bought the Be Mine subscription they are not doing too well lately.

Well, it doesn't say there is single player. it says "play the game alone". So perhaps they mean you can play multiplayer with no one else present or play multiplayer with friends in the room. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unless there are bots then that just sounds like a bunch of contrived nonsense. That's like telling someone that they can play Poker or Chess by themself. All they can do is maybe practice certain basic elements, and that's certainly not what the experience of the game is intended to be.
Anyway, always wary of multiplayer-only games. So many of them are just dead on arrival.
