If you get VAC banned, you won't know it immediately. It kicks in randomly over the next few weeks to prevent people from knowing what triggered it, thus helping to keep Valve's VAC definitions secure. If all he did was use SAM, I don't think that will do it, but I can't guarantee that, nor can I guarantee he didn't do something else that actually would trigger it.

I´m sorry for you, but how did he even hack your account? Didn´t you use Steam Guard? Or did he hack your email adress, too? Never use any programs from Youtube that are called something like "SteamGameCracker" or something like this...

The OP claims the email was hacked. It's possible to do this but it depends highly on the user being really 'loose' with their personal information online. Usually services allow you to recover the password by answering a 'secret question'. Now if you are posting your life story on yoru Steam profile, it might be enough information to glean what your 'secret' might be. Again this highly depends on the user and what information is available publicly. But if you're in a "Honda fan group" then it might not be a stretch that the first car you owned was a Honda. Depends on the questions and such but it's a possible vector. IT's how most celebreties get 'hacked' (Sarah Palin, etc) since their life story information is available with 0.01 seconds on google. It's not hard to find maiden names 3 generations back for certain people.
Alternatively you could try to correlate secret questions on less secure websites, and then correctly assume these answers which are typical, are recycled else where.

i know he hacked both mail adress and steam because when i created thread about i got hacked(same as screenshot) he first said those in screenshots and when i try to check my thread on source op it says there isnt such as thread so he manage to hack it aswell

If you have someone's email address, then send steam a password change request, change the password, and delete the emails you got in the process. That's what is meant by "trivial", and why it's so important to keep your email account safe. It's difficult for a service like Steam to protect against this sort of thing.

Ticket steam, they can see he accessed your account from an IP that was not your usual place of entry. Assuming you always log in from the same PC/IP. It seems he knows you personally? He mentions you taking down a thread? I'd give them all the info you can about your hacker.

What country are you from?
Also, it's "paranoid".

I know, he replied before you did.
And I'm new to the site, I didn't know you could find out that kind of info from profiles. Thanks for being so understanding (and wasting both your time and mine by posting your comment).

Yes. I've used the forums a whole roughly two times.
Any other questions?

I hope you'll get your account and your inventory back very soon and thet you won't get VAC banned (I didn't read every post in here, so I may not have seen a status update).
But a tip for the future for you and everyone here: Set up your Steam Account witch SteamGuard with a GoogleMail Account as contact address. With GoogleMail you can setup a quite safe account when you activate your mobile number, and everytime someone (or you) wants to enter your account, you get a message with an authentication code, just like SteamGuard.

Do you have any Physical copies of games in the account? You can take pictures of the CD-KEY and send them to support along with your account name and info, and ask them to send a new password to a different e-mail.

Yay :). I really hope that Kornel gets banned from Steam.
EDIT: while sending your next e-mail (with the photo of the CD-keys proving that you are the legitimate owner) remember to ask Steam to change your e-mail account. Make a new one. DrBraincake, talked about Google mail being safe. Make an account there and ask Steam if it's possible to change e-mail address to a new one in order to avoid the hacker from infiltrating your Steam account again.

I'm glad you got your stuff back :) When you signed up for GoogleMail, don't forget to activate your mobile number there, so you can always track and prevent people logging in to your account! ;)

I told you to take a picture of the CD-KEY, man. Other than that, congratulations on getting your timesink back.

I noticed that Rayzzzor's account doesn't exist anymore (probably banned by Steam). Kornel's account changed from private to public again (this probably means that the hacker was using one of his victim's accounts to hack other accounts).
ahatf's inventory seems to be the same as before, but I think that it's still under Steam's control since he hasn't connected for 5 days.
Everything seems to be turning out well, though, so I'd feel safe to say that his account is getting restored :).
