Will this entice ya to get ya some (epic) games?

I guess I'll wait a few months for when they go to steam. THEN I'll choose.
Seriously, taking a look at Hades or John Wick Hex and not watching any reviews is too risky

It is, at least at full-price. Although the discounts help mitigate the potential damage.
Jake over at Special Moves has this to say about Hades, he's quite positive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KicagyUy8Jw

I bought Hades just on the strength of Supergiant's name. I won't do that for many studios, but they've earned it.
(It's really good by the way.)

I'll probably pick up the last season of The Walking Dead. Might let it ride, though, what with The Backlog and all.

Ha! I used to buy from GOG, so Epic has a long way to go before it catches up!

Stories Untold was awesome, so with the $10 discount I was thrilled to grab Observation. Also looking at Heavy Rain, but I found the whole Fahrenheit control scheme mostly too frustrating to play, and since all these Quantic Dreams games seem to be pretty much the same thing I don't know if I want to drop ten bucks on it.

Probably gonna get The Walking Dead Season 3 (New Frontier) and Final Season.

i through it's free but no way, i won't move to Epic Game Store

Looking through the games, all it means is that it's about 30%-75% off regular price which is the same as steam sales, which means no reason to get anything on epic other than the free games. The $10 off $15 at checkout is misleading because there isn't a cart to add up to $15 like every other site.

Don't forget that the sale also covers certain preorders, which includes the incoming ports of Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, and Detroit : Become Human. DBH is still expensive even with the sale, but the other two are about £6-7 each.
This is how Epic should be trying to win customers. Great sales is how Steam became such a force in the gaming world. But maybe get your agreements sorted out with the people who are selling on your platform first, yeah? That, the lack of a cart system in the store, and other such fumbles like banning people who make rapid purchases(due to lack of cart system) doesn't breed any degree of trust. Buying out pre-established games that are already on steam comes across as a pure abuse of spending power to corner the market, which again casts a heavy shadow on peoples trust. When EA created Origin, there were major objections there, but those were related to specific issues with the EULA pertaining to data protection (and the hamfisted forced migration to Origin in all existing games where it wasn't necessary), but even then you could understand what EA wanted their own pre-existing properties to be sold within their own distribution platform instead of paying some other company for it. This? I dunno. I want to give them a chance but I don't trust them. It reeks of 'upper management knows whats best for you, the little people', the whole being divorced from basic function and consideration.
That said, I grabbed Heavy Rain because I love story-driven stuff, and loved Fahrenheit despite its second-half collapse and the full ham overload. If Epic would stick to purchasing the rights to create ports of various console exclusives they could win a lot of support, IMO.

I got my first 3 (non-free) Epic games in this sale: Hades, the Subnautica addon and Operencia. The exclusive titels were never a big selling point for me, since with my huge backlog of games I don't really buy fullprice games as soon as theyn get released anyway, but with that good of a deal I don't mind firing up a different client.

Bump, this thread is nicely organized, thank you for creating it! I would also maybe add some of the pre-order titles to the list like Heavy Rain, Detroit Become Human, etc. Also, the original Subnautica is discounted in my region (JP), so it might depend on regions as well?
Epic has not done a great job in managing PR and customer experience in the launch of its store, but I do think in the long run it will be good for gamers and the gaming industry to be able to have more options and also hopefully less "platform-lock" mentality in the end.

I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I expected based on other people's reviews and general opinion. I haven't played the final season so I don't know how it will go on, but Clementine is just a side-character in New Frontier, with a set personality. I think you can make her like or dislike you, but I doubt that it will affect Final Season ... at all?

haha ,so true! they should make the title as The Walking Dead : To Be Continued :)

Skybound have hired ex devs of Telltale to finish the game.

That's not true. The game is already finished. The rest was developed by Skybound. Episode 4 was released in April. The season is concluded with that episode.

Epic Games is holding their Mega Sale on: https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/
Here's a list of deals around 5-8 EUR. For most of these, Epic Games takes off 10 EUR (or region equivalent) on your end but pays the developer the total price, hence "customer price" and "dev bonus" columns.
Note: these are NOT steam keys
Honourable mentions (around E10, some not on sale):
Note: Subnautica (original game) does not qualify for the sale just by 30 cents in EUR region
Edit: added 'Journey' (E4.99)
Edit: added Ubisoft games (E4.99 each): Farcry Primal, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands, Watch_Dogs 2 (Farcry Primal Apex Ed: E6.49)
Edit: added games just around E10 and slightly up
Edit: added referrals to coverage by the newly introduced XBox Gamepass PC as alternative.
