Cool? Uh, I'm not sure... I can tell you funny and weird stories about myself, does that count as cool?

So I caught chickenpox not as a child, as most would, but as an adult. It turns out that, in adults, the disease tends to be more severe. In my case, a lot more severe. Not only did I end up with a bunch of scars (including a veritable hole smack in the middle of my forehead), but I also had my immune system taxed to the point it paved the way for bacteria to make themselves quite at home; as a result, I spent a whole week asleep, only waking up every six hours to take my antibiotics before heading back to bed. I am not making this up: I slept effectively a whole week nonstop because of the freaking chickenpox. I survived anyway, so it turns out we humans can be pretty resilient folk when all is said and done.

Oh, stories about myself aside, I think I know a good one: I can read pretty fast. I can quite easily read a 300-page book in a single day, going at what feels to me like a pretty laid-back pace. I'm not sure why; maybe I've just read so much over the years that it became an acquired skill. In any case, I like reading, so it is a pretty convenient skill in a number of ways.
