Unless you mean what does a survivor need to know to survive, than it would have to be: Knowledge of the local flora and fauna, a good dose of common sense, and a touch of meanness.

3 things i learned from dayz

1. be patient or you skin will change to a swiss cheese

2. have enough food and water with you for very long trips

3. better run from zombies than fighting them unless you like to be on a battlefield or surrounded by other people and zombies

Or you just get a car and smash all these cows :P
