'Allo 'Allo! and Only Fools and Horses

Only good one I haven't seen mentioned is A Bit of Fry and Laurie.

I'm not even sure I would call all of these skit comedies sitcoms, but they're certainly enjoyable.

Almost forgot, not a sitcom, but a good British show is Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Faulty towers..... best ever sitcom from the UK.

Black Adder is an absolute must. You can find the whole run on Netflix last I checked.

Classic comedy ones: Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers, Open all Hours, The Good Life, Some Mothers do have 'Em (but really just for the mental acting, utterly mental)

Best one of those? Good Life, followed by Fawlty Towers (there's not enough episodes!)

Black Adder one thousand times. Red Dwarf and, though it's not a sitcom, A bit of Fry and Laurie(it's a sketch show) is funny as hell.
