My son and I played "Brothers" as a local co-op. We literally shared one controller since one stick controls one brother and the other stick the other brother. It was super unique gameplay that way, and we ended up loving the game.
Nothing gets more true co-op than sharing a controller. ππ€πΎπ€π»

Local Co-op (split-screen), mindless shooting, hours of fun: Borderlands (1,2, Pre-sequel)
Local Co-op (PC or PS3, both available, aslo splitscreen) Portal 2
That's all I can think of now, but those I enjoyed very much with my brother, and with friends.
Best part is, both have a great singleplayer, with story and lots of gameplay,. And you can even play multiplayer or coop online on both

Hi everyone,
Before we begin, let me tell you story about myself. Believe it or not, I am gamer as long as I can remember, having clear memories of playing games on PC and PS1 (Warcraft 3, Crash Bandicoot, Alundra, Final Fantasy IX and many more) at age of 3. I loved to play with my brothers which were in teens back then and we were into gaming a lot, teaching each other tricks and stuff, great times that I like to look back at. Time passed and only one of my brothers was still interested in games. The fact that we still shared love for games really put us closer together,
But nothing lasts forever. As years went by, even he started to be less interested and slowly switched from "normal games" to mobile "pay or wait 2000 years" kind of games. When I realised what happened, I tried to pull my brother slowly away from these by offering to play games he liked before (even those I didn't like) but we usually didn't last long because he felt that the games were now hollow and couldn't keep him interested. I don't blame him, it happened to me few times, but then I always found some magical game that cured me and returned me to full gaming power. I started to think I lost him forever, but today he said out of nowhere that he feels like to play something unique/interesting, but doesn't know what.
This is the part where you come in. I'm looking games that are unique or interesting in some form:
There are some restrictions and information:
Games he likes: (J)RPGS, Dungeon Defenders, Diablo, Final Fantasy (not new ones), Sacred 2, Of Orcs and Men
I believe you'll surely find something great. All your suggestions are really appreciated.
PS:
I didn't want to share with you any games because I'm selfish idiot but I saw some "factory" icon next to my game and when I googled what that means it said "gib or consequences" , so I guess you are lucky (it's nothing special tho). Also sorry for that boring story.
