I calculated it and you need for a lvl 5 horse: 16x Lvl 1 Horses /8x Lvl 2 Horses /4x Lvl 3 Horses /2x Lvl 4 Horses = 1x Lvl 5 Horse. Sooo 5x Lvl 5 Horses = 80x Lvl 1 Horses /40x Lvl 2 Horses /20x Lvl 3 Horses /10x Lvl 4 Horses = 5x Lvl 5 Horses. And you must keep it in mind

You have to train every single pony on Max... So dont say SOTMC is a easy game!

you dont have to max horse to breed (90% or something like that is enough) Although you need to max 5lv horse to get crystal. you also get 2lv horses later in the game so forget about all those 80 1evel horses
