there are many ideas I would love to turn into games if I had the motivation (and time and money), something similar to pokemon snap but without pokemon and more open ended would be one thing I'd enjoy making. a snowboard kids spiritual successor, except for maybe more broad in subject matter, like extend it to more sports. some kind of solar system manager game, where you have to terraform planets, mine minerals, make colonies, etc., and last but not least....a KAYAK simulator :D

So now there is a funny question. Because I am making a game right now.
But there is a catch. I need some software to create it. And as far as I know - this software does not exist. At least not yet. I'm about 35% done with creating it. When it will be ready - I will resume creating my game.
It will be a game with SP and up to 4 players Co-Op mode. With Procedurally Generated Content (and this is the part which doesn't exist - I need to create my own generator - it generates one of four things which it should create, and I am almost close to make a second module working - it kinda works, but for some reason it doesn't generate results - I need to find a bug which causes it) It most likely will have a PEGI-15 Rating.I think that general idea is quite good. I am trying to convince one girl to help me with this project (cute, short brunette, in her early twenties, with mad programming skills, and Mensa level IQ - have you ever meet a girl like this? Because it is first time for me)
In the meanwhile to test some of my work I was thinking of creating second, much smaller game. Player is flying in a drone and shoots at everything which moves, pretends to move or looks like it could move one day. And in this war Realism is a first victim. And player scores extra points for each overkill. And the best way to avoid getting shot is to shot down incoming missiles, or to make a barrel roll in a chopper.

I already am xD 2 games. One is a visual novel (I don't care what you all think, I love them to death), and the other a game via RPG maker.

It would be a first person shooter with a generic main character and story, which is unique in the game industry ;)

It would be quite similar to a game called Tibia. I was obsessed with this game since the early 2000's. I made an OT server at one point, but the money I made coming in wasn't justifying the time I put into the game. I would love to go back and really go all out on a new redesigned map. :D

I would have to TRY and make that illusive WoW killer. I would focus on building a sense of community and purpose. It would be hard and not dumbed down for the kids. I would include an element of strategy and planning within the pvp aspect and the outcome would effect the world. So im thinking...... A world building MMORPG with pvp like altarec valley X Elder scrolls online. Skyrimesque housing system. raids etc... I would take it back to classic tank DPS and healer type setups. Also NO P2W elements.

The game I would like to make would be an MMORPG that is literally the size of the planet and would be similar to Skyrim in its play style just a lot more open ended with how you could combine things. Even made an entire story for it one day out of boredom, tried to send it to Bethesda but they said they weren't allowed to look at it for legal reasons, which I can understand, I think it would have had a pretty decent setup too.

I have been playing Ultima Online RP for almost 6 years so it would be basically Shards. Or at least if it will be as its description promises. Total sandbox. Massively modable. Possibility of smaller servers. I know there are RP communities in pretty much every game but it's still dull compared to private (1000 players in total) RP server.
I'm slightly worried there's nowadays no place(if ever was) for MMORPG, where you make stories("write the history") rather than consume filler quests between raids, though.

Here I go copy pasting once more my game idea. (Yes, I am aware this is the third time at least I am posting it in the forum, but that question keeps popping up, so...)
Disaster Simulator is a pretty simple idea, but a very complex game.
The game is all about sandbox, free roam, open world, and of course, disasters.
You will start by selecting a starting location. Any location worldwide, like tropical island paradise, cities, forests, deserts... Then you will choose out of a vast array of disasters, including: Hurricane, flood, bombardment, zombie apocalypse, earthquake, volcano, tsunami, tornado, war, and many, MANY other. Or, you can simply set it as "Random", and face the unknown.
Then you can start playing. The game's events will be randomly generated, so you cannot know when or where to expect the disaster to happen. You must find shelter, weapons, or even food, depending on your difficulty settings. Then, it's neverending fun... Survive the zombie apocalypse, or find a boat to stay alive when the tsunami strikes, take cover underground in the dark metro lines...
You will also have the full control over the settings, options, and setups.
You may choose whether to need food and shelter, or not. You can also choose to be invincible, or to be a weakling. You can spawn with a full armory, or with only a rusty fork. You can also turn off disasters completely. The possibilities would be limitless, the world would be yours to shape.
And also, there's destruction. Lots of buildings crashing down, gas stations blowing up, and bridges falling into pieces.
Oh, and did I mention the possibility of throwing in co-op multiplayer online, or local? Also Massively multiplayer online, with thousands of players? :D
Aaaaand that's the whole thing. Probably won't ever happen.

An MMO like Planet side 2 but with first person elements like from far cry taking place in a afghanistan or iran (any desert type place )

I had an idea about people in cryogenic storage experiment, a couple in specific. When the guy wakes, he's lost most of his memories, just that there was a girl that came into the experiment with him, and flashes of his time in storage. He also finds that the mankind is at war with some alien entity, but the story does not leave the main character as like a superhero against the aliens, like Gordan Freeman or w/e, but rather he is another person fighting for survival in a chaotic war as he searches for the girl who he believes has knowledge of his past and inexplicable significance to him.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that it would be an FPS, where there's really no cut scenes, instead everything is through the main character's eyes, like in Half Life and a few other games.
